summary: filming a tiktok haul, but also with your boyfriend Alfie!

“Hello guys!!” You say, waving to your phone camera, surrounded in bags. “Thought I’d do a quick little haul!”
“Little..” Alfie scoffs, sitting on the bed behind you doomscrolling on TikTok, causing you to dramatically whip your head back and give him a look.
“Anyways, as you can see Alfie is here and we’re gonna pretend like he’s not!” You say cheerfully, with Alfie in the background frowning, before you pause the filming to grab the first bag you’re showing off.
“Okay,” You say, pressing resume on the button on your phone. “First off, I went to Tk Maxx, and guys I also went with Flo!!”
“Which also means she bought everything."
You turn around again, glaring at him. “Did I tell you to speak?”
“Oi? What’s that supposed to mean?” You turn back towards the camera, playfully rolling your eyes.
“Aye, what’s with the eyeroll girl?”
“Strike one, three strikes and I’m kicking you out!” You say, rummaging in the bag as Alfie pouts.
“As I was saying before I was RUDELY interrupted, I went to Tk Maxx and they always have the best deals, like just take all my money. So I ended up getting a few things for myself, a couple items for the house, and then something for Alfie.”
Alfie perked up at the mention of his name, causing him to drop his phone and now pay attention to the haul. “Oh so now you pay attention?”
Alfie ignores this comment and makes his way from the bed to the floor (having to step over the numerous bags you had accumulated through your shopping trip with Flo) and sits next to you.
“Starting off with the stuff for the house, I found these cute mugs!!” You say, pulling out two white mugs with one having a Snoopy design and the other having Woodstock. “If you know, you know, but I basically have to buy something if it has Snoopy on it.”
Alfie takes one of the mugs and moves it around looking at it. “They’re kinda like us.” You say, watching as he looks at the other mug in your hands, before looking up at you with his eyebrows knit.
“Which one am I?” He asks.
“Hmm.. that’s a tough question.” You say putting your finger on your chin, genuinely thinking it over.
“I know which one you are.”
“Oh?”
“You’re Snoopy because like yeah, he’s cute or whatever, but also he can be mad evil.” Alfie says grinning, causing you to laugh and slap his shoulder.
“I am not evil!”
“Just rewind the footage, see how you were talkin’ to me earlier!” He says, as you shake your head smiling.
“I mean I guess that works out because Woodstock's tiny, just like you.”
Alfie scoffs, looking genuinely offended. “Out of everyone, I know you’re not calling me tiny, girl.”
You feel your face start to burn a bit. “Alright big guy.” You say, turning to grab something else from the bag.
You grab the next item you’re gonna show the camera, but right as you’re about to show the camera it, Alfie takes up the whole frame by flexing both of his biceps.
“Alfie!” You say giggling, trying to pull his arms back from blocking you, but ultimately failing.
“Aint so small now am I?”
“No, but you’re blocking the whole frame! They can’t even see me.”
Alfie shakes his head and stops flexing his arms, which causes you to let go of his bicep. “Geesh, you callin’ me fat now? First it’s I'm tiny, then I’m strong, and now I’m fat? Make up your mind..”
You roll your eyes at his dramatic behavior, before holding up a cute polka dot tube top. “Moving along, I got this top! I thought it was cute and simple, perfect for summer.” You turn to Alfie holding up the shirt over your chest. “What do you think?”
Alfie grabs the bottom of the shirt and fingers the material. “Cute. Polka dots like the fuckin’ Lana lyric you talk about all the time.”
You smile, dropping the shirt and grabbing his arm again. “YES!” You shout, before turning to the camera. “Guys, get yourself a boyfriend to pays attention to the important things, like your favorite Lana Del Rey lyric.”
Alfie grins. “Does this mean I get to see my gift now?”
“Hold your horses cowboy, we’re almost there. Just a couple more bits before yours.”
Next, you pull out some cosmetics and one by one to do the beauty guru show off to the camera. “I was so lucky to find these, like this lip stick,” You say grabbing a fancy Flower Knows lace lipstick. “Is like twenty quid.” Alfie’s eyebrows shoot up to the top of his head.
“Twenty quid for that little thing?”
“Yeah and guess how much I got it for.’
“13?”
“7!”
Alfie raises both of his hands for a high five. “Atta’ girl.”
After a few more things, notably a perfume you had been wanting, some fuzzy socks that had some cute designs, and a blanket that was white with a cute floral design on it, it was finally the reveal for the gift for Alfie.
“Okay,” You say, trying to hold back your laughter as you look up from him after seeing the item. “Are you ready for your surprise?
Alfie smiles. “Feelin’ like a kid on Christmas again.”
“Okay close your eyes and place your hands outward."
“When you said you wanted to try something new this isn’t what I had in mind.” He jokes, causing you to give him a look as he goes to do it.
You have to put all your might into not laughing as you set the aluminum wrapped bar onto his hands. You watch his eyebrows twitch in confusion, trying to think of what you just placed onto his hand.
“Okay, open!”
He opens his eyes and looks at the item, before looking at you, then back at the item, then once again at you before shaking his head in disbelief.
“Is this fucking Dubai chocolate?” He says, causing you to burst out laughing.
Alfie looks at the camera, completely dumbfounded, as you continue to laugh uncontrollably. He looks at the candy bar in disgust, while you still can’t stop laughing.
“I saw it at the register and couldn’t resist, I wanted to see your reaction so bad.” You struggle to say while laughing.
“Well you got it alright.” Alfie says, fighting a smile as you continue to laugh.
“Guys,” you say, finally calming down. “100k likes and I’ll film the Dubai chocolate taste test.”
“You’re like 2 years too late, by the way.” Alfie says, still holding his candy bar.
“Better late than never!” You say, before ending the tiktok.
