My friend and I were in a café watching the LCS when an older gentleman (50s-60s) came over and asked questions about League (and similar online games). He ended up talking to us about it for a good 15 minutes and was so floored by everything about it. He left us saying, “Keep playing, keep exercising your minds, keep doing what you do, because you’re building us a better future.” I’m not sure about that last part, but it felt nice to hear nonetheless, and was one of the most enjoyable conversations I’ve had about League!

honestly..... this is me now when I play civ v.

There’s nothing wrong with being bad at Civ. I’m pretty fucking mediocre at it, personally. It’s just that TB has a certain reputation for being, like, pretty good at games, so seeing him flounder at a game where I understand what’s happening pretty well is personally amusing.

okay seeing @abananapepper and @weirdblueman flesh out their RWBY ocs/characters for my game is both (A) fucking adorable and (B) really cool and additionally it’s (C) great fodder for me, the GM.
