Bored At Night? Why Not Pay A Visit To This Creepy Abandoned School House...
Nowadays, exploring abandoned buildings can be considered more of an art form than a dangerous hobby. While, of course, urban exploration has its risks, those risks can be completely worth it…especially when the result means coming face-to-face with forgotten parts of history. Take, for example, this old one-room school house that a pair of urban explorers decided to check out.
This is the Ingraham Hill School House today. It sits on an isolated piece of land in upstate New York.

According to local legend, a teacher in the late 1800s went crazy and tried to burn down the school house with all of the children locked inside.

Local officials have sealed the main entrance to the school up tight. The only way in is through a small tunnel that someone dug under the building.

If you thought it was freaky during the day, just wait until you see the building at night.

Adding to the creepiness is a nearby graveyard where the bodies of the victims of the supposed school house fire are said to be buried.

There have to be dozens of ghosts that call this building home…

My hat is off to these explorers for braving the local ghost stories to get these shots. I don’t think I would have made it past that tiny tunnel.
