i love the idea of langdon/abbot and i'm so sad we don't have very much screentime of the two of them (yet?)
mostly i think jack is the father(figure) that langdon wishes robby was? he listens to him and takes an interest in what he has to say. he teaches him and praises him when he does well. he tells him he's proud of him, even if he's sometimes awkward about it. he's not as emotionally open as robby can be (though robby is mostly open about his more volatile emotions anyway) but frank also doesn't have to pry anything out of jack or guess where he stands with him. it's probably refeshing to have a mentor who's so honest and uncomplicated with him.
if jack ever needs to punish/correct frank (at work or in a sexual sense), I don't think he's angry when he does it? he's calm and measured and tells frank exactly what's going to happen and why. i think frank prefers getting punishment from jack for this reason, but sometimes he probably still needs robby's volatility when he really needs to feel that shame/pain (and he gets that urge to be punished cruelly from robby ofc)
sexually i think they could be a very interesting pair since they both lean towards pleasing others?
frank is smart, takes instruction well (when he respects the person giving the instructions) and i can see him domming or subbing, but either way it's mostly from a desire to please other people.
whereas jack is fairly straight forward, enjoys being useful, and pays attention to how to please others, but i think he still has a bit of a hard time asking for certain things for himself. I know the fandom likes to HC him as a super confident dom type who orders people around but I think that's more shawn/his other characters bleeding into abbot HCs instead of abbot himself? like yea he has a familiar/comfortable relationship with robby but we're seeing them years and possibly decades down the road. so for an established realtionship, that vibe totally could work. but to me he seems a lot less sure of himself with other people, so i think at first he would mostly focus on pleasing his partner regardless of his role.
so i think frank would want to please jack and jack would enjoy seeing frank doing what he's told, but jack probably wouldn't ask for any sexual things just for himself until he got more comfortable with him. but eventually, with enough trust, i think jack could ask frank for all sorts of things he wants. i think he could even eventually train frank up to dom him too since frank can be very maleable when needed and would do it as another way of pleasing jack.
in my hucklerabbotkingdon familycest verse, i think jack could treat frank almost like his protege or heir, in a way? similar to how robby did at the hospital, but more like he's inheriting caring for their family's needs. jack could train frank up to dom or sub for the rest of the family (his other dad robby and his younger siblings mel and dennis) since he's learned what everyone in the house needs and can cater to that when needed. so frank becomes jack's second set of hands (or holes, as the case demands). i can see jack calling in frank to co-dom mel and dennis with him, or even take care of robby if he needs some additional help. frank could also be jack's sub that he uses to train mel/dennis to dom too since jack seems like the type to give all of his offspring some well-rounded training and experience.
i probably have a lot more thoughts but those are the main ones for now <3 <3
