It doesn't quite matter that a lot of people have it as long as it matters to you. I mean yeah it's nice to have something special and unique but if it means something to you and a bunch of other people that's sort of nice too. A combined feeling, kind of. :)
Yeah, I get what you're saying. It means a lot to her because we're international kids and we all travel a lot so the whole world map thing means something to her.
Yeah I want the same thing. I want things that I know are going to be there but aren't going to be overtly noticeable. Or things I can easily hide. :) I just love tattoos!
Me too! I love when they mean something, and I love really special detailed ones. I have a friend who got one of those world map and compass tattoos on her wrist and it looks super cool (but I feel like lots of people have that one)
Aww that's so cool! And you'll get there soon, I promise. the time passes faster than you think. and i'm going to get, for my first one, "wanderlust" on the back on my neck. after that, not sure, but they'll probably all be quotes, or a small symbol type thing.
That's cool! I wanted to get a quote or word but I couldn't decide which one I wanted most so I decided it was too big anyway. I really want small ones that are barely noticeable at first.

well I'd like to get a constellation tattooed on my back (jus the stars, no lines) and I'd like a Ukrainian trident on my ribcage. I've also thought about getting something behind my ear but I don't think that one is going to happen. I've still got a year and a half to wait ugh. What tattoos do you want to get?
