Abby Modell's ‘Galaxy Collection’ takes the viewer on a magical journey through her three-dimensional wall art and large sculptural objects. Formations of ultra-luminous swirling stars with their infinite dimension are re-imagined by the artist as she focuses on refracted light and modern forms. Also featured are works from Modell’s Dichroic glass ‘Starburst Collection’. Described by the artist, mesmerizing glass in mirrored and opalescent finishes uniquely defines “art that changes color.” As the viewer’s angle to the glass changes the color shifts. Utilizing these redefined iridescent glass characteristics, Abby Modell creates large glass canvases that mimic cosmic starbursts with their infinite reflections in the night sky.
