Ok so this post is gonna be giving a giant info/character dump on this idea I mentioned first here
So this old this idea I had, I've had this since I was in high school, was of these pups all being adopted by this dog couple and live in a hotel (that was owned by the dad, hotel's his family's business). There were 26 puppies in total, and each one would be distinguished with a necklace with a pendant for every letter of the alphabet, said letter also being the first one in their name.
For now I'm just gonna call it "ABC pups" in the tags until I can think of a better name
Papa Louie, a purebred Brittany Spaniel, who comes from a rich family family business in hotel chains. In fact, one of the old hotels is what's being used as the home for his now massive family. He's more than a little stressed at suddenly becoming a father of 26, but does all he can in making sure his new kids are out of harm's way and from being homeless again. Even if they do mess with some of the order he likes.
Louie's mate Felix, a golden retriever looking mutt, and inventor of many technologies, including doggy phones. She's comes off as a bit of an air-head but is very smart and technically inclined. She immediately takes all the puppies as her own children and tends to go more with the flow in contrast to her mate.
The 2 had some issues over years having a puppy of their own, so decided to adopt one. Only to look and find a place with 25 nameless puppies, and Felix just couldn't help but fall in love with all of them. So they took all of them in as theirs.
Funny enough it wasn't until after that that Felix found out she was pregnant.
