Alpha pup headcanons~
I always seem to go off on tangents about omega pups but what about alpha pups?
So first off, these little balls of energy are so scared of the world around them, but they mimic behaviors from their parents, so if there’s an alpha/omega couple, the alpha pups will follow everything the alpha is doing like a little row of ducklings.
In preschool, there will be an omega teacher and an alpha para, or vice versa, and the omegas and half of the betas will go and follow the omega adult and the alphas and the other half of the betas will follow the alpha adult. The alpha adult will “roughhouse” with the pups, but make sure they’re never really in any danger.
Alpha pups are the most likely to bite first, ask questions later! This has to be seriously trained out of pups so they don’t get into trouble later in life. They’re energetic and impulsive and get frightened easily.
Most first born pups in an alpha/omega relationship will be alphas. Of course this isn’t 100% full proof, but most omegas can tell what they’re carrying early on.
Alpha pups make the cutest crafts for their mother figure. You can expect little handprint turkeys and cute decorated picture frames that they made all by themselves. But the parents will definitely know they made it all by themselves because they’ll be covered in whatever craft material they were using.
Alpha pups are either the cleanest or dirtiest pups ever. If the parents catch them young, they can teach cleanliness habits from a really early age, but sadly a lot of people think cleaning is omega work, so they don’t teach their alpha pups.
