Donald O’Connor during a recording session for the soundtrack of “Olympys 7-0000″, an epidode of ABC Stage 67, an ambitious anthology of one-hour plays both original and adapted from literary sources, aired from September 1966 until May 1967 on ABC-TV.
ABC Stage 67 consisted of 26 weekly American television shows that included dramas, variety shows, documentaries and original musicals. “Olympys 7-0000″, aired October 12 in 1966, was the first musical, with music and lyrics by Richard Adler, also featuring Larry Blyden and Phyllis Newman. The soundrack was released in 1966 by Command Records.
