I redrew this like, 3 times. Eventually used a bunch of tracing paper to Frankenstein those 3 images together to make one. And I still don’t love it.

I like it, but my starry girl deserves better 😔

Because I compiled and redrew so much this piece is much smaller than I’ve been drawing lately. So that makes the smaller spaces difficult to colour with the markers. I decided to just do some flat colour and shading and call it a day before I sit on it for another three months.

Maybe I’ll redraw it in the future.

I meant to add some highlighting to her other hand before I snapped pics, but I went to sleep and forgot the next day lol.

Azuricka will be my first bc-goer of 2025! Excited to see how she does!

This past year after rejoining neopets has been amazing! I’ve drawn more art than I have for the past 6 years, furthered my skills, bettered my anatomy, and met lots of fantastic and wonderful new friends and people! And I hope this next year is just as lovely.

Honestly think I hated having a koi this entire time because there wasn’t enough going on with it. The extra frills and changes to the fins on the Maraquan one really helped me fall in love with this girl again.
