I'm here to declare that I have absolutely no kink with blonde problematic men in anime, usually nobles, sometimes mischievous, with a dark side but always kind-hearted. If you say I do, you're right.
Abel Bluefield from Fena: Pirate Princess. 💙
Thanks to @sashi-ya for infecting my mind with that bastard.

Fena: Pirate Princess → Prince Abel Bluefield
Kaizoku Oujo | Ep 7 | I have to know. Did Helena... Did Helena love me? If she did, why did she take you and-- Helena...
Love at First Sight
Fena Pirate Princess Theories- Episode 11
BEWARE: SPOILERS AHEAD . . . .

So far we started with ‘blue waters and storm clouds’, Alba Regina and Vice Versa and then the whole secret song being a sort of guide for the location of Eden. With all of the clues laid out, everything falling into place including the stone and the coordinates, there’s only one thing left; the right choice. From the events of last episode and the promo, I feel that this point towards Fena choosing between Abel and Yukimaru, with Abel being blue waters and Yukimaru being storm clouds. I feel this is obvious from their appearances and the roles they’ve played. As Cody puts it, she can’t choose both. Either Fena will go for a third choice, or she’ll have to decide between Abel and Yukimaru. Of course while she doesn’t have any sort of emotional attachment to Abel, but there could be a plot twist that makes it harder for her to choose. Another thing that I feel that determines the plot is that if we compare the timeline of events of Fena and her mother, they too are in reverse. Fena started out her journey with short hair and escape, on the other hand her mother’s life ended with short hair and captivity, and then death. I think from this point of view, we’ll see Fena with long hair very soon. This is another plot element that aligns with vice versa. Similarly, Helena and Abel had to part, while Fena and Yukimaru were reunited. Almost everything is eerily true about their lives going opposite ways.
Okay, I kinda knew about Fena: Pirate Princess’s ending before going into it, but I was still kinda “WTF?” I feel like that was kind of a rushed and convoluted ending to a show that had a pretty good premise. Also, they tried to make Abel sympathetic and stuff, but I’m sorry, I don’t care if the guy was trying to get to the love of his life or whatever, he was still a total dick and killed people he didn’t need to in order to get what he wanted. He was acting purely for selfish reasons.
I did like the epilogue of the crew taking Fena on a trip to regain her memories though, and Yukimaru finally confessing his feelings were super cute. So, I say this show has good characters and an entertaining beginning, but a dull ending.
So... Fena and Yukimaru are on the same wavelength now and they are very good at figuring things together... Yet Abel is always a step forward because he already knew about their plans... Also, Abel's backstory is terribly sad because it seems that Helena loved him back but she was forced to do what she did (I don't know why but I had some serious Lacie/Jack/Levi vibes) and yet, I hope that Abel's turned obsession won't make him forget that Fena is his half-sister... 😱 I even noticed that during the memory lane walking, the dark blue water and the white storm clouds seem to be paired respectively with Yukimaru and Abel, so that Fena will be probably forced to choose between them in the future... In order for the Pucelle to be reborn the father must be a king, and we know that Abel is a Prince (who cannot become King but who knows in the meanwhile) and we still don't know anything about Yukimaru, who probably has a noble heritage too... 🤔🤔 And last, who is Cody??? He's so mysterious!! I guess he's not who he claims to be and I won't be surprised if he's the one who told Helena about the Pucelle... 🤔🤔
