I had to make revisions to the last chapter. A few grammaticals that I didn't catch.
Also included a character who I completely forgot to add -_- so I removed their brief two second mention.
Also forget to mention wine, coffee and ink -_-
Decided on the next chapter being their view on everything as of late. Plan to incorporate Greater Dog as well. Before we go back to Old Home.

*i’m genuinely fed up and mad 😤 from getting way too much unwanted ship content shoved in my face lately. i’ve already warned people before, but there are still so many shippers and "all-content-at-once" accounts barging in 🚪. i have no idea what’s going through your mind when you sneak into otome spaces for content you don’t even like 🤨. you clearly hate otome content, but you still come here to leech off it — is your own ship fandom so dead that there’s zero food left for you? are you here to steal otome fanworks and project your own ships onto them? 🍽️❌

*alright, let’s talk about the "red soul" and "player" issues in the dr otome fandom first 🗣️. anyone who’s played or watched deltarune knows those two refer to us, the people sitting behind the screen, right? this game is super obviously a meta work too — to put it simply, "meta" means breaking the boundary between the virtual world and real life, the thing we usually call "breaking the fourth wall" 🧱. the game straight up tells you that the red soul is us, not some random "red soul" with its own independent personality. if it’s not us, then who’s controlling kris to go through all those dialogues, battles, and pick every single route? even the name we set for ourselves and the vessel + its name before the game starts are all chosen by us 📝.
*why on earth are people out there simping for this so-called "red soul" as if it’s a fully original separate character? you’re literally shipping the player — that’s you, the person behind the screen — with kris and other in-game characters. that’s the most textbook self-insert otome content you could ever make, and you guys are still twisting it into random crack ships and shoving it into unrelated ship tags. it’s so backwards and makes zero sense at all.
*even worse, some of you are deadass insisting "the red soul is not the player" — are you for real? did you even actually play the game? who else could possibly be the one playing this game if it’s not us? if you say you’re simping for that old discarded vessel from the game, that’s totally fine. tons of people already make otome content for it, that vessel was literally made to be the placeholder for us, no one’s gonna call you out for simping that. but you’re simping for the "red soul" — that’s literally just simping for yourself, are you kidding me right now 😭?
*like those people who ship kpk or other ships tied to the "red soul", no one’s stopping you from shipping whatever you want, but are you being serious about this? then you go and force all that ship content straight into otome works, you don’t even have the basic respect for the original creators 🚫. i was scrolling through a private otome-only group chat earlier and saw a comment from someone who was clearly barging in uninvited, saying "liking the post means you respect it" — but the whole point of respect is that you don’t sneak into spaces that aren’t for you in the first place! you’re a random shipper / multi-shipper barging in uninvited, how dare you say that counts as respect? did you not laugh to yourself while typing that comment? the original poster was just a strict otome-only fan who got invaded and was ranting about it, and you’re over here defending the people who broke in. can’t you read the words "otome-only strict boundary"? did you even go to school? do you not understand what "keep your fandom content in your own lane" means 🛤️?
*i’m so drained i don’t have a single bit of energy left. and then let's talk about "epic timeless romances" between Sans and Papyrus in the UT fandom 😅. let’s be real, they’re just random crack ships thrown together out of nowhere. the characters don’t even live in the same alternate universe, they probably don’t even know each other’s names, and i still can’t figure out where people get the energy to ship them so hard. that "skeleton brothers" ship? they’re literally canon blood brothers who fight over the last plate of spaghetti, and y’all are digging for forbidden romance crumbs in that pure sibling bond. that level of imagination is wasted if you don’t write fantasy web novels.
*then there’s Sans x Toriel x Sans. Toriel’s kid is old enough to run through the entire underground world. all they ever did was tell a few bad jokes through a door and met once at the barrier, and y’all call them "cross-species soulmates". Asgore would probably show up at your door at midnight to ask what you’re on about.
*Sans x Frisk x Sans is even more wild. people are straight up packaging pedophilia as "age-gap mutual redemption". that filter is thick enough to block Mettaton’s stage spotlights.
*Grillby x Sans x Grillby is so funny too. he’s just a bar owner and Sans is a regular who never pays for his burgers. y’all turned that into "fated love in the cozy firelight". Grillby probably doesn’t even recognize the deadbeat skeleton when he’s wiping mugs, but y’all already wrote the whole love story for them.
*Mettaton x Papyrus x Mettaton? Mettaton probably can’t even find Papyrus’s name in his millions of fan lists. Papyrus just looks up to him as a top idol from far away, and y’all made that into a "secret forbidden romance between a stage star and his obsessed little fan". Mettaton’s agent would send y’all a gold screenwriter offer right away.
*Flowey x Sans x Flowey is next level. all those two ever did was fight each other, Sans remembers less about Flowey than he remembers about his ketchup bottles. y’all wrote dozens of chapters of tragic romance fics out of that zero romantic interaction, it’s genuinely mind blowing.
*i’m not here to police every single ship in the fandom, but can y’all at least respect the basic canon lore and stop shoving all these random crack ships into spaces that are never meant for them? i’m so tired of seeing all this unwanted content everywhere i go.
*this post is such a pent-up rant, i’m so fed up with those shippers and multi-shipper accounts barging right into my space nonstop 😔. it’s so devastating seeing my own otome/self-insert works get stolen and twisted into ship content by those people over and over. i’ve lost count of how many of these people i’ve blocked already. if you really wanna do that, can you at least hide your ship-related tags and content properly? if you keep it totally out of my sight i literally don’t care at all. i don’t have the energy to police every little thing anymore. drawing already drains me so much, and there’s also a bunch of otome-haters coming to stir up trouble nonstop. i really don’t have the spare time to mess around with you guys, okay? every single drawing i spend 4-5 hours on barely gets any views, but some random otome ask chain or template post gets 2-3 times more notes than my finished art. i stress every single day trying to figure out what to draw next, i’m this close to full-on art block and drawing anxiety, i’m literally about to cry…
*this post is just me letting out all the pent-up frustration, this is literally what i deal with every single day on domestic chinese fandom platforms. last last thing, if i said anything wrong feel free to correct me, thanks for reading all the way to the end 💛.
