Ah thank you! But only my Norwegian has any kind of fluency to it, and I'm not quite that good at it! My Finnish is alright but patchy and my Faroese is basic. I can read, translate and pronounce Old Norse but not necessarily speak or converse in it. I'm certainly not the world's greatest linguist, nor as talented as you or anon thinks!

You'e obviously bored and I'm genuinely curious. I've learned from your posts that viking lore is a very rich heritage, but how did you become interested in it to begin with?
Good question! I'm really not sure there's one defining moment when I decided Vikings were really interesting. I've always been interested in history, particularly the medieval period, and the Vikings were really prominent at that time, so the more I looked into it, the more I wanted to know :)
