Context: We have a lot of medical debt from a lot of ambulance rides (seizure disorder triggered by heavy dissociation or panic, yay!) so we get calls from collections for money we don't have.

[Phone rings]

Emmrich [To our partner, in the most gentlemanly British voice]: One moment, darling.

Emmrich [Answering phone]: Hello?

Caller: This call may be monitored or recorded. May I speak with [DEAD NAME REDACTED]

Emmrich: No.

Caller: Is this a good phone number for this person?

Emmrich: Yes, but not at the moment.

Caller: Okay I will call in some time

Vinn: I think I'm in love with Emmrich, guys

Fenris: I miss horses. They don't have horns, you could just yell at people. Cars are heavier, apparently worse for the environment, require more upkeep. At least horses don't have the capacity to explode if you do something wrong.

Vance: Well, Broody, we can't ride horses. Plus cars are faster

Fenris: *Pointing at traffic* Evidently not, Vance.

Vance: What about if it's raining?

Fenris: Do you not know... What a carriage is? Or a cloak?

Context: Vance is a vampire

Vance, walking to 7-11 at 1 in the morning: 24-hour shops should be counted as a necessity for nocturnal people. And I don't mean "Night owls" who go to bed at 11pm. I mean people who are wired for night.
