One of the more violent and stylish entries of the Italian giallo's released in the early 80s, A Blade in the Dark (1983) was Directed by Lamberto Bava. This slasher is cleverly structured with a plot that keeps the viewer guessing who it might be right up to the final scenes. Originally made for television, Bava's film was decreed too gory for TV thus the reason for its theatrical release. --------------------------------------------- Synopsis... Bruno, who's a composer, is hired to work on a horror film score. He lives in a posh villa provided by the studio and soon notices strange happenings with his neighbors.
