I was avoiding city driving too, but once you get used to it it's alright. I'll be living juuuuuust outside mpls city limits and busing in to the U but driving in the cities for fun things and friends and whatnot. You'll be ok
i’ve never had to drive in the downtown areas, just in the suburbs, so the thought of navigating is kind of a nightmare. i’m sure it’s not as bad as i’m imagining, but it’s hard to get over the intimidation

It's not as bad as you think! If you get in an area like prospect park or northeast, it's mostly like suburbs except a little closer. And prospect park is right on the train line (and also I live around there ;P)
i don’t mind the idea of the train, for sure
it seems like a bunch of people from morris went back to/ended up in the cities, which is pretty neat and sounds like a much better social environment tbh
