On days like today, I like to load up my MRI images of my brain and go through and count the lesions. I always end up with a different number. I do this, so I remember that my symptoms are valid. That even though doctors will try and pass it off as something psychological, I think of the lesions on my brain. You know, all 20+ of them. I remember that this scarring on my brain has forced my brain to rewire all of its’ pathways, and that I am not faking my symptoms. I know there is something wrong with me. So I will keep looking at my scans to remind myself.
