A good example of this is if harm comes to Haetae, once the harm is done Akio will stop at nothing to extract vengeance on the person who harmed his precious fluff ball. This can also be said for close friends, family, lovers.

16. What does your character do for a living? How do they see their profession? What do they like about it? Dislike?
If we’re talking about making of money? Akio makes due with battle prize money, anything else? Akio spends a lot of his time traversing the regions to study Dragon Types in their natural habitats, after all, what better way to learn than from nature?
The adventure of it is what Akio likes, since species of Dragons are very rare to find in the wilds, which could also be a dislike, it takes very long periods of time to find then and those periods of time can get very lonely. Yet the blue wonder trudges on! Never wavering from his challenge!

3. Brothers, sisters? Who do they like? Why? What do they despise about their siblings?
Akio is the youngest of three brothers, his oldest being a league champion in several different regions, being a competitive battler, and now a member of the Internation Police, the one, the only, Ryoku!
His second oldest brother is an Electric type trainer named Barak, who is also a guitarist. And a bit of a dick but shhh.
Akio likes them both equally, while Ryoku can be far more stern and Barak...well, Barak. Akio probably learns far more from Ryoku than Barak though, who is rather lazy and chills most of his days.
Akio hasn’t beaten Ryoku in a battle once, and it frustrates him to a great extent. Ryoku doesn’t rub it in or pour salt on the wound either, he doesn’t hold back because he knows it’s not what Akio would want.
Barak teases and picks on him. From hard noggies to slugs to the arm, but all playfully of course, if he doesn’t try to flirt up a girlfriend Akio gets.
24. What social groups and activities does your character attend? What role do they like to play? What role do they actually play, usually?
Akio really is a loner? What a bore, unless it’s get together time with the best idol ever Furuka, the cherry haired Lily, and nerd Chris. Akio might be silently awkward at those times? Akio didn’t have a lot of human friends when he was younger, spending most of his time around Dragon types.
29. What is your character’s weaknesses? Hubris? Pride? Controlling?
Akio can become cocky and over excited very easily, though he tries not too. That and Dragons, smoll dragons are a big weakness...and smoll cats, and doges. I mean though, Haetae is everyone’s weakness....
42. What does your character want most? What do they need really badly, compulsively? What are they willing to do, to sacrifice, to obtain?
Akio’s goal is to become the greatest dragon trainer ever, he wants the chance and ability to pull such a thing off, though it’s unlikely to happen. Akio needs to get over his fear of a certain type. You can’t be a master of something you fear! Akio needs to learn how to be better at battling opponents such as his older brother if he is going to be a mono type trainer, normal teams can be very tough to deal with and many things can set up on a mono team or cripple it easily.

Akio loves both his parents to death and has no hate for them in a bone in his body. He is very close to both of them and keeps in contact every day.
While Akio’s father taught him to take life easy and things one at a time, he certainly takes after his mother. An intense trainer who uses his Pokemon’s natural skills in battle to improvise. While taking extremely good care of them.
Aside from Dragon training and being goofy, Akio takes after his mother much more than his father, while having a bit of a temper and becoming v scary when angered, enough so to scare his two giant Tyrantrums.
32. How does your character react to stress situations? Defensively? Aggressively? Evasively?
I guess it depends on the situation? Though I could see Akio acting more aggressively than anything. He’s more of an ‘do it’ guy I guess? Lol It wouldn’t do any good to try to avoid it, WHAT IF IT POPS UP AGAIN!?

Akio can be very kind with good manners, yet at the same time, he can come off as a bit rude because he’s a fuckin’ dork. If Akio would consider anyone a hero in his eyes, it’d probably be, not counting his grandfather, Drayden from Unova, or Drake from Hoenn, both being veteran Dragon type trainers.
While Hate may be too strong of a word for this, Akio dislikes Lance, for the reason of calling himself, and others calling him, a ‘dragon master’ and not using many Dragon types except for the Dratini line. (Gen 1 yes I remember hush)
26. What does your character’s home look like? Personal taste? Clothing? Hair? Appearance?
Home? Whazzat? Right now he’s just travelin’. Thou Akio’s home would prob be decked out with Dragon themed objects....
Akio’s normal clothing consists of a black and white scarf, red goggles, a light blue jacket with a grey undershirt, dark blue jeans and grey sneakers. His hair is slicked back and spiky when he does it, when not it usually hangs down all messy and curly and what not over his eyes, Akio’s hair goes down to his back when not in a pony tail.
Akio is exactly 6 feet tall, and rather well built, not to the point where he is a body builder but he is fit and do got them muscles! He’s got them yellow eyes from his mama and that always goofy grin from his father.
