Ooh well okay so this is for Allison Parker but I have to replot like 90% of her fic because I made it before I knew like, anything about the Parker family in TVD lmao; but basically it’s a reference to the Robert Frost poem, because Allison’s life, while far from perfect, was pretty good, but Landon’s arrival at the Salvatore School essentially just sets off a chain of events that changes all of that and takes what once was a pretty good life and just keeps making it worse (especially if speculation is right and Kai is going to be in season 2)
