Do you think maybe you could do that ( platonic headcannons ) with Faker/EXE as much as you can think of, I think that might be fine all the same. Faker/Exe X Reader (Platonic) Headcanons

Faker is destructive, violent, and overall angry at the world, so it would take someone special to see through that and break down those walls.

He would be stubborn about it, completely convinced that companionship was a weakness that he did not need, but should you be persistent, Faker would begin to tolerate you.

Should you continue to pursue friendship with him with equal tenacity as he resisted it, eventually he'd come around.

Of course, you knew that if he really hated you, you would be naught but a stain on the ground. It is very much a "If you didn't want to be my friend you should have killed me when you had the chance," sort of situation.

He likes to be near you. He's a quality-time type of guy.

If you are mortal or otherwise not on par with his power level, expect some protective behavior.

While he's not very talkative - no one really understands voidspeak - he will talk to you. If you don't understand him, he doesn't care. So long as you seem to care about what he's saying.

Listen to him long enough and you'll begin to parse the meaning of some words. If you begin to understand him more, he'll get pretty excited. His usually grouchy expression will soften and he'll seem much more engaged in the conversation.

He's never had someone who truly cares about him before, so he may be confused by some affectionate behaviors, while completely rejecting others. Which means, absolutely no touchy. He'll even growl at you about it, the skin on his mouth melting away partially to expose his teeth.

He understands you seeking his company the most. He does the same, after all.

Though he does not let you touch him, he does let you stand physically closer to him than he would let others.

You are spared from his violent impulses. Faker is violent because he is angry, not because he is a sadist. You sit outside his large blanket of things he is angry at, so he will not be violent with you.

If you make him laugh, count that as your bench mark into "close friend" territory. You make him happy. He never feels happy.

Platonic -

2017X:

While 2017x does have "friends," he doesn't have friends. Not like you. While others are too disturbed by his behavior - or went against his delusions too much to make him comfortable in getting close - you stuck around.

You'd have to appeal a bit to the belief that he is sonic, but you would be spared from his occasional bouts of violence.

Your closeness with him would result in you seeing quite a different version of X than the one initially presented you with. X, the sonic-imitator, was much more energetic and prideful then X, your friend.

With you, he's awkward, quieter, more sensitive, and a little insecure.

He is incredibly guarded, both mentally and physically. Despite his belief that he is sonic, he wants others to believe so, too, so subconsciously he feels that he must prove it somehow.

He lets his guard down a little near you, but just as you start to see X's true self shine behind the cracks in the facade, he snaps back into his regular behavior, not acknowledging that it had happened in the first place.

Verbally affectionate almost exclusively. He might put a hand on your shoulder every now and then, but if you try to do the same thing or even something so simple as a pat on the back, you'll have him flinching as if you could possibly do anything to hurt him. He'd try and brush it off, but he'd always have a wild, almost panicked look in his eyes afterwards.

Might complain about the vessels to you. He's a bit of a gossip.

Fleetway:

It would be hard to match Fleetway's energy, but challenging things do not come without their rewards.

Once secured as a genuine friend, Fleetway is your ride-or-die. A bastard still, but a ride-or-die nonetheless.

He still has a fragile ego with you, so you can't really hit too close to home, but back and forth banter is Fleetway's method of showing appreciation for you.

He will annoy you for fun.

He hates it when people struggle to stand up for themselves, so if you're in conflict with someone but having confidence issues, He'll be the simultaneous hype man and devil on your shoulder. He boots you up while he encourages violence.

Will become a little protective of you. Fleetway may fight or intimidate someone giving you issues. But in secret. He doesn't actually want to know that he'd fight on your behalf.

Not a physically affectionate friend. He'll dodge you if you try. Or punch you in the shoulder.

Romantic -

2017x:

You're never getting rid of him.

He acts much more like his true self around you, with an extra layer of vulnerability, and less likely to self-correct back into his usual behavior.

More ok with physical touch. At the beginning of your relationship, he may be pretty stiff and awkward about it, but as time goes on he'll actually begin to seek it out and melt into it. You're just so much warmer than he is. You feel nice to hug.

Jealous, and a bit possessive.

May isolate you as a result.

Most affectionate when you two are alone. He doesn't enjoy PDA very much.

His abandonment issues really kick in during your relationship, he's horrified that you'll leave him.

Tries to make an effort to be romantic, but isn't really good at it due to his chaotic nature.

May freak out a bit when you're hurt or sick. He's not really good with all that really fragile stuff but he'll try his best to take care of you.

He's a little hands-y. He likes to rest his arm around your shoulders, or have a hand on your waist or hip, or the small of your back. He's not shy letting other's know you're his, either.

While he can be quite energetic the majority of the time, winding down is a little easier now because of you.

[ Thanks for the request! No, I don't have a character limit, I really like to run with ideas I enjoy, so I feel no need to set a cap on something I want to create. Some things may get a part 2 if I've sat writing it for so long without posting anything else, but other then that, I write until I run out of ideas relevant to the request. However, I don't like setting minimum character requirements because I do this for fun, it's not a school assignment :P This is a cute idea, hope you enjoy, friend! ]

Majin:

Majin's quills are so bright and vibrant blue, it's hard not to find them pretty. Close up, they are incredibly glossy, almost artificial looking, and when you ran your hands through them they felt like smooth glass rods. They were also incredibly pointy - in great contrast to his smooth, velvet-like fur - you had to be careful when you hugged Majin because they were so sharp. He doesn't shed them often, because he isn't really all that close to a hedgehog, so each one feels like its own little treasure. He'd giggle to himself as you'd lean down to grab a discarded quill. What could you possibly need that for? He'd be very amused by your ingenuity if he saw you using it as a tool, but if he saw you wearing it on your person as a piece of jewelry, or pinned up in your hair or fur or clothes, he would find it incredibly touching. What was once apart of him, is now apart of you! You hold him so close... It makes him happy.

Majin, however, would struggle to understand the shrine. Do you worship him? Should he have a shrine of you, too? Is this a normal romantic ritual? He doesn't know.

Faker:

Faker's quills are a bit shorter than average, black at the tips, and rather flexible. They are also quite sharp, but their tendency to bend makes them less dangerous. They behave a little bit like hair, except way less likely to get tangled because of their thickness. When he's in his beast form, they become much more firm and even a little crumpled looking. Faker is curious the moment he sees you pick up one of his quills. He may stare for a moment with a cocked eyebrow, but would brush it off. Maybe you’re just trying to prevent an injury if someone were to step on it. The quills are a bit too flexible to be used for painting or drawing, but are suitable as knitting needles because they’re more firm at the sharp tip. Faker will watch intently, unaware of the use cases of a discarded quill. If he saw you using it as an accessory, he would find it similarly curious. Now every time he discards a quill, he would stick it in your hair or fur or clothes. Should faker discover the shrine, he’d be very amused. The idea that you’d find him so precious makes him laugh, though not in ridicule. It re-affirms your loyalty as a partner. He finds it validating.

All-Father:

All-Father's quills are almost impossibly brightly colored. When in the slightest light, they're nearly painful to look at, and in the dark, they blend in with the shadows. The longest quills zig-zag at sharp angles and each one is absolutely indestructible. He smiles at you as you pick them up. You cling to pieces of him as if he is impermanent - like there would ever be a time where he isn't around. Of course, All-Father's idea of love is quite different from yours. To him, your love is devotion, your shrine is that of worship, your accessories made from his quills are symbols of faith and the collection of his quills is ritualistic. Not that he wouldn't value it, you are perhaps his most loyal follower! Because of this, he graces you with his presence often, content to let you collect his quills for whatever use you deem them worthy of.

2011x:

X’s quills are very long, vibrant and sturdy. They're rough enough to have ink cling to the surface, so, suitable as a pen. He probably wouldn't notice your collection for a very long time, and only realize after he finds you using them. He'd smile, maybe laugh a little, wondering if this was an attempt at harnessing some of his power as if any latent energy clung to the discarded quills. But, should you inform them that you just find them special and pretty, he'd pause for a moment. Of course, he knew you loved him, but the idea that you would hold onto every piece of him had him taken aback. It would make him feel incredibly validated in your relationship. You loved him. Not just his strength or his powers, him. Of course, he wouldn't say it out loud, but you'd notice him getting a little emotional about it from time to time.

Kolossos:

Kolossos's quills are dark and desaturated. He shed them often, and over time they would become more and more brittle until they crumble away. His disfigured arm leaves him with the inability to properly groom himself, so throughout the years, they grew dull. He didn't need them much, anyway. His size and strength was enough to defend him from attackers. Which, is why he felt confused as he watched you gather them from the ground. He clearly didn't need them any more, what use of them would you have? When your relationship with Kolossos grew, and he allowed you to groom his quills, you noticed the difference quickly. They lasted longer, stayed sharp, and didn't fall out as much. The quills were - however - hollow on the inside. When Kolossos noticed you using them to adorn on yourself, he'd be very pleased. May those pieces of him give you strength! (Though, with how protective he can be, you might not need it.)

Fleetway:

Fleetway's quills crackled with energy even after hours of being detached from the source. They'd emit a golden light constantly, as well as a gentle warmth, making them suitable for some really unique jewellery. Fleetway, with his rightful status as a brat, would totally laugh at you and call you weird for the shrine. But, he'd be a little miffed if you took it down. Wearing his quills as accessories would make him swell with pride. He prefers this over any piece of precious metal on you. First of all, his quills are waayyy rarer, and it's not like gold glows or anything, so this is clearly better. Second of all, their gentle luminosity makes you easy to find, even as he's zipping around as fast as can be. Fleetway tends to lose a few quills in battle or travel, and should he have the patience, he may go back and pick them up for you. He just likes to see you all prettied up in his colors.
