Alright - much as I didn’t want to do this, there are some changes coming to the MultiMuse as of today. Those are found UNDER the cut due to length of the post. If you don’t read it and wonder why something’s different, well then there’s no excuse.

The purpose of this post, however, for the part easily visible; I AM ON HIATUS. I’m dealing with...well, a lot. Some of it I don’t even know how to explain without being on a tirade, but just know, I’m on HIATUS until possibly sometime in July. We’ll see. Maybe sooner, maybe the end of this month, I legitimately do not know, I’m afraid. 

Onto the less fun bits.

Regarding my muses there are changes hitting almost all of them.

Axel/Lea from Kingdom Hearts

Until @aeternai​ is ready, he is in an indefinite frozen state. I’m open to discuss writing with him, but it will be very, very few and far between. His mental state to write in, is rough. He will not actively be displayed on the blog, as he is not an actively available muse.

Gladiolus Amicitia from Final Fantasy XV

Another not often used Muse. He will be available as necessary for interactions in threads already happening; I.E. making guest appearances in my other muse’s FFXV verses. He is not available for shipping. I have tried, and he does not conform readily to any ship. There is one hidden on the blog for him, but unless prompted, it will not make an appearance, and instead will be side mentions and vague. Maybe an occasional drabble. All in all, he will make small appearances, nothing major, and is not available for most interactions. Will not actively be displayed on the blog.

Lunafreya Nox Fleuret from Final Fantasy XV

Similar to Gladio, she will make guest appearances where needed. Very rare, must be explicitly asked for before interactions. She is tied heavily to Cloud’s FFXV verse, so there will be side mentions. Will not be actively displayed on the blog.

Loki Laufeyson, a MCU & Mythos Hybrid

Due to the lack of interest for him, but the strength of the muse, he is still available. However; he will not interact with female muses. It is nothing personal as a mun, just how the muse works and has been developed over the years. No readily displayed on the Blog, but feel free to ask for him, he’ll still show up in the rules.

Lúcio Correia dos Santos from Overwatch

MY FROGGY BOI - He is obviously not going anywhere. I adore Lucio, I would love to write more as him, but he does fall under the secondary muse for this blog; due to the fact he is very selective at times. Feel free to ask for him, though!

Gabriel ‘Reaper’ Reyes from Overwatch

I thought I could maintain him on this blog, but due to the mental space that muse puts me in, both Gabriel & Reaper, I will be removing him from the blog. The old content from him will remain in place, but please don’t expect anything new for him, nor will he be accessible through Asks. Anything from here on regarding him, will be deleted, I’m just cannot write him.

Subject Delta from Bioshock

Due to there being no interest, he will be removed from the blog, loathe as I am to say that. I adore him as a muse, there just isn’t much I can do with him, I fear. He may make a reappearance in the future.

Princess Zelda from the Legend of Zelda Franchise

She has not formally been announced or introduced, however she will remain on the blog for use. I need to get her pages up still, but they are coming I assure you. I think she’ll be based more out of Ocarina of Time, or she’s going to be removed from any timeline and have remnants of each of her reincarnations. One of the two, we will see - that way any Zelda game is fair game, providing I do my research...

Angela ‘Mercy’ Ziegler from Overwatch

Has...admittedly mutated. Angie is a MAIN muse on this blog now. She has multiple verses; Overwatch, Apex Legends, FFXIV (Tied heavily with my Cloud’s), and a FFXV verse that ties in heavily with the Crownsguard, my Gladio, & my Luna. Do not hesitate for anything regarding this Muse. She is always awake; though if you’re looking for instant ships, sadly keep looking. Her main ships take priority; found in both @countrywestern​‘s McCree, @grimesucker​ (She loves her trash boy okay?), and @zestirix​ (Ignis most definitely, I think Ardyn too, still working on that one) - but those ships will take priority. I’m not against shipping (Give this woman love damn it, let her love you) but it takes chemistry and a connection with the muns as well.

Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII

Ah, my sassy trash son. Another MAIN muse on this blog. However he is single ship with @griefandpunishment​‘s Squall (If you don’t like reading Strifehart, I recommend unfollowing because these two get stupidly mushy sometimes) - the ship has been 5 or so years in the making (if not more, I legitimately don’t know how long it’s been) but all ships aside from this will be either platonic, or enemies at this rate. However, he also has multiple verses; VIII, XIV (Tied heavily with both Angela’s and Squall’s), XV - ties in heavily with my Lunafreya, and more! Feel free to ask for the sassy medic, though I assure you he has no interest, sexually or romantically, in any other muse besides a certain moody gunblader. Sorry.

Neova Lerouxisx, an Original Character

My baby is shifting to a Main muse. I have put too much work into her to have her sit idly. I’m going to try and get some interactions going on her, so we’ll see. There isn’t a universe she can’t fit in to - and she readily has verses for most Final Fantasy’s, Apex, Overwatch, LoZ (Tentatively) and more! Just ask, please! 

Now to end with some FAQs regarding my decision, to nip in the ass any questions that may crop up. Some of them deal with questions I’ve dealt with from when I had anon on, others I’ve had asked to my face SO moving on.

Anubis, why are you doing this?

My blog, admittedly, is a mess. I have all this muse for certain ones - even more than what’s upon this blog - but I have found myself craving something....more. One offs are fine, but I thoroughly enjoy my threads that have heft and length - as if you couldn’t tell. That is easiest to achieve, and maintain, with 3 core muses I have chosen. I never have an issue with any of those three, and it’s easier for everyone involved. Plus it makes it so no one is waiting months for a reply from one of my lesser used or the ones I struggle to maintain, like Reaper.

Why are you removing -insert muse-?!

Short answer? My blog, my sanity, I do what I want. Long answer? Please see above and reread as many times as needed for it to stick, thank you.

I have caught grief since I started this blog; I know some adore the muses here, and some don’t. I cannot, realistically, keep putting myself in dangerous headspaces to write. Not with what I’m dealing with IRL. I have since stopped trying to appease the masses, and am shifting this wholly to my entertainment.

Lawl, it’s just writing, who cares?

As a writer who takes pride in what they do, and how they write, and to whom characterization means everything; how dare, first off. If you are a writer who doesn’t care, you are not a writer worth my time anyways. Elitist? Perhaps.

Or perhaps I know what I’m willing to put up with, and what I expect out of my writing partners - especially knowing what I put in for their replies. It’s the least I could ask for, this understanding.

Why is Cloud single ship?

Why does Cloud do anything Cloud does, let’s be real. He has a genuine connection with that Squall. They have been together for years and apparently gravitated back together. I get along amazingly with that mun, I can ping ideas off them any given day - and they understand my molasses speed some days ^^’ It’s why I’m beyond comfortable wrapping Cloud in a bow and handing him to her.

Plus, Cloud licked Squall so, y’know, it’s his.

Why is everything canon divergent? Can't tolerate actually following something? Or do you have some other reason for it? You have more than enough canon to work with for all of these muses

…You know, normally I don’t entertain drivel like this. Rudeness aside on your part, I’m still going to answer this, partly because I’m not sure if this is a sincere question worded very poorly or not. Because this is something I have dealt with for all my years of writing on Tumblr, and honestly? The stigma is tiring and part of the reason why I drift in and out of blogs like the wind. Because of people with this mindset, who think everything needs to be the same…

I have discussed with a few of my partners the divergency of my muses. Yes. Every muse is different than the canon materials. Yes, they take parts of it to influence my particular portrayal. And no, I will never change and strictly follow canon.

For a bit of backstory I have been writing a….very long time. I started young with crappy little stories about twenty years ago, and here we are now. In that time, three of the muses I have on this blog? They’ve been with me a vast majority of the time. I’ve been writing Neova since I was eight years old; next year my muse is literally old enough to drink had she been real. Axel/Lea? I’ve had him since 2004 when Chain of Memories first came out and I loved him as a character (16 years this year, he’d be able to drive) and Cloud? Since 2002 (He’d officially graduate High School this year).

I’m not saying I always wrote them well - writing was an escape I enjoyed, and I had my stories to escape life. But this isn’t about that. This is about the fact I have muses who have been around, kicking in my head, longer than most. I cannot just stick to canon in instances like that. These muses are too long lived, they have grown and mutated into their own portrayals over the years, and they’ve been my steadfast companions in many dark moments when reality is too much and I wish to escape.

I am canon divergent not because ‘it’s easier’. I am canon divergent because my muses are very much alive and independent. They flourish in their canon, do not get me wrong on that front, but they are independent enough to step confidently into other mediums and homes that aren’t their norm. It’s why Neova is so easy to throw literally anywhere. It’s why Axel, for all his darkness, is just as home in any other Fandom as he is Kingdom Hearts, same with Cloud. They’ve adapted and grown.

I don’t follow anything. Most writers I’m sure would agree with me; the longer you put your mind in the space to write for a specific character, the more it grows with you, and allows you to see the path it walks on. For some, it may never deviate from the norm, from their canon. But for others, there’s a parkour run from point A to point B, and we just have to do our best as writers to keep up and chronicle it.

So while I am distressed that you sent this in, I still thank you, for at least I can explain and toss this under a tag for those who go nosing through the blog. Despite everything, please have a delightful day, even shrouded in your bitterness.

Anubis’ Personality Type

About Logisticians:

The Logistician personality type is thought to be the most abundant, making up around 13% of the population. Their defining characteristics of integrity, practical logic and tireless dedication to duty make Logisticians a vital core to many families, as well as organizations that uphold traditions, rules and standards, such as law offices, regulatory bodies and military. Logisticians seek stability and security, considering it their duty to maintain a smooth operation, and they may find that their coworkers and significant others shift their responsibilities onto them, knowing that they will always take up the slack. Logisticians tend to keep their opinions to themselves and let the facts do the talking, but it can be a long time before observable evidence tells the whole story.

Logisticians need to remember to take care of themselves – their stubborn dedication to stability and efficiency can compromise those goals in the long term as others lean ever-harder on them, creating an emotional strain that can go unexpressed for years, only finally coming out after it’s too late to fix. If they can find coworkers and spouses who genuinely appreciate and complement their qualities, who enjoy the brightness, clarity and dependability that they offer, Logisticians will find that their stabilizing role is a tremendously satisfying one, knowing that they are part of a system that works.

Logisticians and Relationships:

Logisticians are dependable through and through, and this trait is clearly expressed when it comes to their romantic relationships. Often representing the epitome of family values, people with the Logistician personality type are comfortable with, and often even encourage traditional household and gender roles, and look to a family structure guided by clear expectations and honesty. While their reserved nature often makes dating Logisticians challenging, they are truly dedicated partners, willing to devote tremendous thought and energy to ensure stable and mutually satisfying relationships.

Blind dates and random hookups are not Logisticians’ preferred methods for finding potential partners. The risk and unpredictability of these situations has Logisticians’ alarm bells ringing, and being dragged out for a night of dancing at the club just isn’t going to happen. Logistician personalities much prefer more responsible, conservative methods of dating, such as dinner with an interested coworker or, in their more adventurous moods, a setup organized through a mutual friend.

Logisticians approach relationships, as with most things, from a rational perspective, looking for compatibility and the mutual satisfaction of daily and long-term needs. This isn’t a process that Logisticians take lightly, and once commitments are established, they stick to their promises to the very end. Logisticians establish foundations, fulfill their responsibilities, and keep their relationships functional and stable.

While this may not translate into particularly exotic intimate lives, Logisticians are dependable lovers who want very much for their partners to remain satisfied. It takes patience on the part of more adventurous partners, but if different activities can be demonstrated as equally or more enjoyable than those already within Logisticians’ comfort zones, they are perfectly capable of trying something new.

However, emotional satisfaction can be another matter. While Logisticians are able to provide surprisingly good emotional support, this only happens when they realize that it’s necessary, and there’s the rub. Logisticians are not naturally receptive to others’ emotions, not unless they are stated clearly, and a partner usually only says “I’m angry” when it’s too late to address the initial grievance.

People with the Logistician personality type can get so caught up in the belief in their correctness, in “winning” arguments they thought were about facts, that they don’t realize their partner may have viewed things from a perspective of consideration and sensitivity. Partners who share the Observant (S) trait are the best fit for Logistician personalities, with one or two opposing traits to create balance and to expand Logisticians’ sometimes overly isolated world, such as partners with Extraverted (E) or Prospecting (P) traits.

Strengths:

Honest and Direct – Integrity is the heart of the Logistician personality type. Emotional manipulation, mind games and reassuring lies all run counter to Logisticians’ preference for managing the reality of the situations they encounter with plain and simple honesty.

Strong-willed and Dutiful – Logisticians embody that integrity in their actions too, working hard and staying focused on their goals. Patient and determined, people with the Logistician personality type meet their obligations, period.

Very Responsible – Logisticians’ word is a promise, and a promise means everything. Logisticians would rather run themselves into the ground with extra days and lost sleep than fail to deliver the results they said they would. Loyalty is a strong sentiment for Logistician personalities, and they fulfill their duties to the people and organizations they’ve committed themselves to.

Calm and Practical – None of their promises would mean much if Logisticians lost their tempers and broke down at every sign of hardship – they keep their feet on the ground and make clear, rational decisions. Peoples’ preferences are a factor to consider in this process, and Logisticians work to make the best use of individual qualities, but these decisions are made with effectiveness in mind more so than empathy. The same applies to criticisms, for others and themselves.

Create and Enforce Order – The primary goal of any Logistician is to be effective in what they’ve chosen to do, and they believe that this is accomplished best when everyone involved knows exactly what is going on and why. Unclear guidelines and people who break established rules undermine this effort, and are rarely tolerated by Logisticians. Structure and rules foster dependability; chaos creates unforeseen setbacks and missed deadlines.

Jacks-of-all-trades – Much like Analyst personality types, Logisticians are proud repositories of knowledge, though the emphasis is more on facts and statistics than concepts and underlying principles. This allows Logisticians to apply themselves to a variety of situations, picking up and applying new data and grasping the details of challenging situations as a matter of course.

Weaknesses:

Stubborn – The facts are the facts, and Logisticians tend to resist any new idea that isn’t supported by them. This factual decision-making process also makes it difficult for people with the Logistician personality type to accept that they were wrong about something – but anyone can miss a detail, even them.

Insensitive – While not intentionally harsh, Logisticians often hurt more sensitive types’ feelings by the simple mantra that honesty is the best policy. Logistician personalities may take emotions into consideration, but really only so far as to determine the most effective way to say what needs to be said.

Always by the Book – Logisticians believe that things work best with clearly defined rules, but this makes them reluctant to bend those rules or try new things, even when the downside is minimal. Truly unstructured environments leave Logisticians all but paralyzed.

Judgmental – Opinions are opinions and facts are facts, and Logisticians are unlikely to respect people who disagree with those facts, or especially those who remain willfully ignorant of them.

Often Unreasonably Blame Themselves – All this can combine to make Logisticians believe they are the only ones who can see projects through reliably. As they load themselves with extra work and responsibilities, turning away good intentions and helpful ideas, Logisticians sooner or later hit a tipping point where they simply can’t deliver. Since they’ve heaped the responsibility on themselves, Logisticians then believe the responsibility for failure is theirs alone to bear.

Lawful Neutral

A lawful neutral character acts as law, tradition, or a personal code directs her. Order and organization are paramount to him. He may believe in personal order and live by a code or standard, or he may believe in order for all and favor a strong, organized government. The common phrase for lawful neutral is "true lawful." Lawful neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you are reliable and honorable without being a zealot.
