//Y’know, when I think of Baribus, I actually think of him as a slightly thinner, more-angular-faced James Norrington. Where James has softer features and Baribus’ features are a bit sharper. They could be brothers, twins even if you didn’t know the differences to look for. I imagine James might have softer, fuller cheeks than Baribus which gives the impression of him having a longer face than James. But it’s really that he has thin cheeks XP

Moana - Does your muse believe in fate or destiny? What is theirs? Atlantis - Is your muse adventurous or do they prefer to seclude themselves?

Baribus does not actually believe in fate or destiny. Or rather, he didn’t until he was turned into a fish monster and later restored by his good friend, Theodore Groves. At this point in his life, he believes there is indeed a God or good force of Providence at work in his life. If there weren’t, he would not be where he is today with such a friend.

Baribus is actually both. He often enjoys the quiet peace of seclusion, as it gives him ample time to think, practice his violin, and rest from his daily work. However, he is adventurous when he feels like it and has quite the explorers spirit when the time calls for it. It’s what helped him transition from chimney sweep to sailer to laggard, and everything in between.
