I just read BTYBR and I find Dorothy and Jack’s interaction really sweet, especially when they find Tik-Tok

They’re besties your honor, or Jack’s the little brother Dorothy never had haha.

And Tik-Tok is great too. I had so much fun writing him

The idea of the spell taking even living things and forcing them to fuse with Fiyero is terrifying, I love it. I just wish it could have been like inside out where they are all trapped in the same headspace and Fiyero has to deal with them in his head

Ahaha at times I had thought about that, but with all the cast I had I think I would of gotten overwhelmed with it if I’m honest.

I wanted to keep the whole like brain empty/brainless motif with Fiyero. Like scarecrow - no brain, gargoyle -head filled with rocks etc lol

Buuut I think if Fiyero had been far away from Elphaba with the gargoyle I’d imagine he’d have thoughts that were not his own. And any other sort of death that takes a sentient creature…

I just want to say that I absolutely love the world you built for Wicked/Wizard of Oz. Easily my favorite version of it. I am curious though. While I am very happy poor Fiyero did not die again when he got caught in the wreck of the Time Clock Dragon, I am curious to what the transformation would have been like. Would the magic pull components of the clockwork dragon and Fiyero would become something close to that? Would it even work with the Time Clock Dragon? Or knowing Fiyero's bad luck with magic, would it work too well and Fiyero is the new Time Clock Dragon?

Regardless, I loved the conclusion and am excited for more.

He definitely would become something close to the Time Clock Dragon, though a bit more humanoid lol. Since the spell gathers components all around him, he’d be more close to a Emerald Time Clock Dragon due to the space he’s in lol.

But knowing his luck, the people would indeed believe him to be the deity xD

Funny enough before Gargoyle Fiyero was a thing, he was going to be parts of the Time Clock Dragon. The fight with Morrible was going to be at the clock tower instead of Kiamo Ko, and he was going to be more of a clockwork/metal dragon creature but the idea got scrapped because of the whole arc with the Nome King I wanted to do.
