My username came from my ao3 username - decembercamie. 'December' is my favorite time of the year and my birth month, 'camie' is supposed to stand for the camellia flower somehow lol. When I made my tumblr account I made it with decembercamie as my username buuuuuut I accidentally forgot my password so I had to make a new account with a new username. I like cherries so that's literally the only reason why I chose to add 'cherries' onto my ao3 username for my tumblr username.

For your first question, I wasn't sure if you were asking about my fav fics that I've written or fav fics that I've read? I went with fav fics I've read but if you meant something else just send me another ask!

Here's my current favorite top-ten fics I've read in no particular order:

Atlas (star trek, spirk) - a re-imagined what if au about what would happen after the events of the first movie and it features genius!Kirk which I absolutely love. I reread this at least once a year.

2. Miracle Child (Homestuck, gamkar) - also a what if au about what might have happened if the characters completed the game earlier and reset both the troll and human universes. It's set only in the troll universe, though. I came for the gamkar but I stayed for the awesome world building and incredible OCs. I also reread this one at least once a year.

3. A Heavy Heart (Homestuck, gamkar) - a bit of a reversed hemospectrum au mashed with a royalty au. I love this author in general for their gamkar but this fic of theirs has all my fav tropes.

4. from the rivers of our palms (x-men first class, cherik) - I'm pretty sure this fic is what inspired me to write my own hxh daemon au series because this is the best daemon au fic I've found and it inspires me every time I reread it. The cherik in this is excellent and I loved their daemons' personalities too.

5. from stardust to stars (hxh, killugon) - all of xyliane's fics are absolute perfection but this fic is the first of theirs I read and it still makes me cry to this day. The world building is really interesting, I wish I could read another couple thousand words more about it. It also inspired me to write my hxh alice in wonderland fic out of order, as this is the only other story I've read that is told like that.

6. 108 degrees (hxh, killugon) - I have a lot of fav hxh killugon fics but this one is just really fun to read. It's not that deep, it's basically a short one shot of aged up!killugon getting together on a really hot day, but god damn does it make me happy.

7. All Things Belong (mdzs, wwx + the Wens, wangxian) - this fic features Wei Wuxian receiving all the love, pampering and recognition he deserves from the most powerful cultivation family and I love that for him. The Wens are fleshed out characters in this and I love how they all fall in love with Wei Wuxian while remaining a threat to everyone else involved. Even if this fic is never completed I will adore it to the end of time.

8. Starved Stunted Juvenility (mdzs, wangxian) - what if au in which wangxian get together during their Cloud Recesses days. This fic has everyone in character, everyone falling in love with and being protective over and spoiling Wei Wuxian, incredible action scenes, a seriously well thought-out plot and world building, wonderful OCs AND it is still being regularly updated despite being over 750k WORDS LONG. I would worship the ground this author walks on if I could because oh my god.

9. Rule Number One: Don't Get Attached (mdzs, wangxian) - all of my favorite tropes and aus mashed into one fic, featuring badass/genius!Wei Wuxian and dark!Lan Wangji. This author is also just an excellent wangxian writer, I've really enjoyed all their stuff but this fic of theirs in particular is so my type that it's kind of insane lol.

10. the kind that lasts forever (tgcf, hualian) - I read this fic back when I still hadn't finished tgcf yet because it is a modern au so I wouldn't be too spoiled, and I liked it so much that I chased it down again to reread it, and then searched for it AGAIN just to bookmark it. It is hysterical. I legit laughed out loud several times even when re-reading it a second and third time.

daycare rick’s life sucks: the tweet compilation

i had to make this because you all have to know. the people have to know. this is all ooc sorry y’all. lot of pics because i’m lazy, so it’s under a readmore. this is... slightly cherry-picked, mostly because i want to keep this short, but also because personally, my daycare rick is not as much of an asshole. to be fair official daycare rick is not a gargantuan asshole but, You Know(tm).

exhibit a: this man is so hungry all the time. does this strike you as a man who can afford to eat when he’s taking care of 300+ mortys (frequently mentioned)

i choose to interpret the fact that he keeps talking about eating mortys as a sign that he literally cannot afford food regularly. which is. more or less accurate. plus there’s a tweet about that too. that said on the official twitter he does mention having actual food but. [ignores that for my own daycare rick]

i’m giving up on doing this by exhibit i’m just going to put shit in as i see it.

fun fact: i’ve done math for this tweet! considering that the daycare is a free service in the game, that means you don’t have to pay him shit for taking care of your mortys. most daycare workers, at least in the us, get paid around 9 dollars an hour on average, which is about 453 dollars weekly, which. is nowhere NEARLY enough for 300+ kids AND yourself. he can... barely afford like... a single meal for all the mortys at the very cheapest.

i keep thinking about how the mortys apparently shit and piss everywhere. gross. the woes of only having outside and probably only one bathroom, probably.

i feel horrible about this one. like jesus dude.

also apparently official daycare rick has a house he can come back to but my dc rick just lives where he works. it’s a 24/7 work cycle babey. he’s so tired. let him sleep.

aaaand that’s all the tweets i have gathered up that stand out to me! i didn’t feel like going through all the responses because that’s so many more tweets to sift through.

something i want: so many things but I’ll just list a few here - to switch to a better job, to finish editing my killugon multichapter fic so I can finally start posting it, to make friends in the new town I’ve moved to, to find a girlfriend, to attend pride this year since I’m so much closer to the city scene, for my chronic migraines to go away forever, for Togashi to feel better so he can continue hunterxhunter, for my cousin to recover as best he can

FIRST TAG THING

Last song: Love is The Moment~~~~ I’ve had this song stuck in my head all week, it’s from a korean drama my sister and I are watching at the moment

Last Movie: I think it was The Proposal? It’s a feel good movie that I’ve seen a million times but my sister’s bf had never seen before so we made him watch it lol

Currently reading: I don’t remember the title but it’s a historical fiction book set in world war 2 Poland. You can imagine it’s not the most positive story so I’ve been taking a while to read it seeing as the world is depressing enough as is

Currently watching: The Heirs on netflix!!!! :D It’s the korean drama show I mentioned earlier!!!! I think it’s the best korean drama I’ve ever seen. There’s so many characters and each of them are well developed so it’s super interesting to see them all interact. I find myself loving the scenes even without the main dou in it and I’m very VERY sad it’s almost over we only have one episode left :(((

Currently craving: Food of any kind. It’s after noon and I haven’t eaten yet ^^;;;

Currently working on: Mmmmmmm I have two wips - one is complete just in really rough form and the other is only half finished by my estimate - and I’m in the process of editing a really long fic of mine that I should be able to start posting soon-ish~

mmmmmnah I don’t think so. I know I’ve been infatuated with and loved people before but I don’t think that’s the same as being in love

Then again the only official relationship I’ve ever been in lasted like a month and a half before it combusted on itself so I’m not the best person to know the difference between loving someone and being in love lol

So I’m just going to go with the short answer and say no, I have not been in love yet!
