Scars: Plenty mainly across her back so not many people see them. There’s a couple of more obvious ones on her legs and arms but she covers them up with make up.
Tattoos: Stars around her left ankle, phoenix across most of her back, lotus flower on her arm, heart with her mother and sister's names as close to her heart as she can get it.
Friends and Family
Mother: Jennifer Faith MacLeod
Relationship with Mother: Passed away from cancer when Di was five years old which is when Di’s life started going downhill. They were fairly close up to that point but the memories of that have gotten fuzzier over time for Di. Especially since as a doctor she used to be at work a lot until she got sick.
Father: Caleb Liam Macleod
Relationship with Father: Up until her mother’s death the pair weren’t particularly close but at least were civil. After her death Caleb became steadily more and more abusive and controlling towards Di because he needed something to take out his aggression on. As a politician of high ranking Di never had much weight to report him for it.
Siblings: Louisa Sian Macleod, Thomas Matthew Macleod
Relationships with Siblings: Thomas and Louisa are Di’s half-siblings from some of Caleb’s one night stands. Thomas mimics her father in almost everything he does and as such he and Di are polar opposites. They barely speak and when they do Thomas just hurls abuse at her. He’s very homo/xenophobic which means he’s not well liked by anybody else either.
Louisa is basically Di’s world and the only reason that she stuck around her house for so long. There’s a considerable age gap between them and that means Di is more of a mother figure to her than a sister. Di would do practically anything to protect Louisa even get herself killed and will immediately resort to violence if someone threatens her.
Sexual Orientation: Pansexual
Previous Relationships: Masen Rose, Santana Corvosa
Relationship with Masen Rose: Masen was Di’s first boyfriend after he asked her to a dance at school. As she was the smart girl at the back of the class and she barely ever talked to anyone she didn’t expect to be asked so she accepted. They dated for about two weeks afterwards before he admitted only dated her to try and get Santana’s attention. He was her first kiss. He was also what made her much more cautious about entering any further relationships.
Relationship with Santana Corvosa: Because Santana is her best friend she was the first person Di went to when she wanted to experiment. They had a brief relationship before deciding it was too awkward for them and they went back to being good friends. Only briefly afterwards Santana moved away with her family.
What Di looks for in a relationship: Someone that she can be sure doesn’t have an ulterior motive for dating her, also they have to understand that she doesn’t want a relationship to move quickly at all. And if they ever try to control her or tell her that she should focus on her work less they get the boot immediately. Also intelligence is extremely attractive to her.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Physical Strengths: Di is a former gymnast and dancer and as such is very flexible and capable of many tricks. She’s not so much of a fighter as someone who knows how to get out of the way and make you take yourself out.
Physical Weaknesses: In a battle of brute strength she would definitely lose as that’s not her area at all.
Mental Strengths: She has a strong grasp on maths and physics as she needs that for her job. She’s also good at problem solving as that comes with her past as a hacker. And with that comes an affinity for computers that she’s honed over the years.
Mental Weaknesses: She has no grasp of complicated medical concepts at all which often got her into trouble with injuries from her father. She’s tried to learn about them but just doesn’t get it. Also she has very little patience which means if she can’t figure something out quickly and it isn’t important she’ll just leave it.
Skills
Fighting: She prefers not to solve things through fighting at all if she can and even then avoids causing too much harm. Unless you’ve hurt her family and friends then her passion tends to make her really go for it. Her strengths still lie more in trickery than in actual hits.
Technology: This is Di’s main area and where she thrives. She loves working with machines especially any form of advanced computer. Her speciality is getting around technology and setting up better security as she knows a lot about techniques various people use from her hacking days.
Stealth: Di can be very stealthy when she wants to be as she is very light-footed. It comes with her dance and gymnastics training and she doesn’t mean to move so quietly she just naturally does.
Secrecy: Di keeps all of her own secrets close to her chest and if it she deems it worthy she’ll keep yours. But sometimes if it’s something important or about another person it will irk her enough that she’ll just blurt it out.
Manipulation: She isn’t normally intentionally manipulative but she can be when she chooses. An anon summed up Di in this matter more than I ever could in a drabble about Cal being dead so here you go;
Thievery: She doesn’t condone stealing in most situations unless it’s the stealing of information which she obviously used to do a lot. So she has no idea if she’s good at it.
Piloting: She could maybe take control of the instrumentation involved because it’s just another computer but it would probably be a very bumpy ride.
Linguistics: As the daughter of an important diplomat she picked up a lot of languages from meetings with different people (native to Earth or not). She’s a bit out of practice with most of them but she could still get herself out of trouble and communicate with a fair amount of cultures.
Medicine: Di has almost no clue here except from simple bandaging and even then it’s much messier than someone qualified would be capable of. Despite her mother’s profession she didn’t inherit that talent.

What makes you sad? Happy? Mad? Why? - People in bad situations almost make me sad if I cannae help them. My little sister is what makes me happy the most often as well as work. Do you have any biases or prejudices? - I guess I’m kind of biased towards people who are more intelligent but since Louisa turned out tae be dyslexic I think I’m improvin’ slowly there. She’ll RP for any fandom as long as I know the basics of what the hell I’m doing :) Here’s a little bit more information specific to fandoms;
Star Trek
I put her in Engineering as a default for most threads as that’s where she as a character is most comfortable but I’ll also write her in sciences or even communications if that’s better for a thread.
Also understand that she ran away from her home to join Starfleet but didn’t quite get there at first and was stuck hanging around in between. She won’t talk about how she got to Starfleet and if you ask she may become annoyed with your character for a bit.
While as a character in general Di is quite sarcastic and defensive (and I love her for it) if you’re in a position of authority over her then she’ll be very respectful of your position if she likes your character or not. As she grows more comfortable she’ll speak her mind more and more often.
Doctor Who
Di is like in love with the TARDIS because of the machinery involved and the fact that sentient machinery is like her dream. So don’t be surprised if she starts talking to it. That’s all I’m saying.
Sherlock
Di’s mainverse is very closely linked with Sherlock (and to a lesser extent Doctor Who) so if you’re a canon character or even an OC in that fandom you can ask to interlink into the mainverse. Either that or you can do an AU!Verse thread with me I don’t mind.
PJO
I write Di as a daughter of Apollo here with all that entails. Also most often she’s going to end up as a Hunter of Artemis here as I think she would do so. So romance is harder to fit in here because of that. But if you ask nicely I can make an exception.
Also a final PSA Di is a very hostile character at times so she may judge your character or take against them at first and eventually change her mind. Please don’t let this discourage you. It would make me very sad if that’s the only thing stopping you.
