FINALLY FINISHED THE STORY and it was such an interesting story I will definitely gush as Veteran AK and Limbus player, especially about the Doctor.
Spoiler below.
From the start, Limbus could always take general theme of Arknights about Oripathy, discrimination towards Infected, etc, since it's the niche people know ever since the launch in 2020. But no, they take it one step further and use Seaborn as the theme and manage to intertwine Limbus general idea of ego/sense of self and Arknights of survival/civilization, especially since it also becomes the main topic of current main story chapter.
And then there is Doctor, whom I expected to be silent protag like Arknights (since they are MC) or acts very passively, actually give their input here! It made me realize by seeing them in third person of how much Doctor as character has grown. From a silent protag with amnesia and meme about zero sanity, to someone known as 'Ghost of Babel' with ruthless calculation and being hated by W and Kal'tsit for killing Theresa, to someone who above all, treasures life and civilization inside it. Something that I like from MC in gacha character where they become less of self-insert and more become a fleshed out character with thought and story behind them. It is written well in Arknights, and Limbus really capture it spectacularly!
Seeing Doctor working alongside Dante who also works as commander to their employees, albeit merely a glimpse of it, are really cool too! They have clashing method of strategy (planner vs impromptu, minimizing damage vs just bruteforce it), along with different perspective about the humanity with how Doctor said no one has the right to justify nor take away the right to survive, and Dante saying that they could always figure it out step by step and improve to be better, but ultimately they reject the idea of being overridden by seaborn (and in some sense, this could apply to The Light too).
Overall, I think this event story is really well-made since it's clear Limbus really understand the world and characters in Arknights, it is basically love letter to the game it colab with.
