Fuck, I feel like I should be making an audio post or some shit like Garry does because those always seem to mean more.... but you guys don't wanna hear my shitty voice. anyways.

There are a lot of reasons why Gerard is a hero; there are the obvious things- his music and his art, the huge amount of kids that he has effected, the amount of lives MCR saved and is still saving...but he has a special place in my life for a lot more reasons than that.

 I have never come across anyone in my life whom I can relate to more. It's like we have the same fucking brain. I know this is weird to say, because I've never met him, but that's how i feel about it. Everyday I learn something new about him and I am like, fuck, that's what I thought, or that's that thing I love, he loves it too, or wow I feel exactly the same fucking way about this or that or whatever. And sometimes it's stupid little things, like heck yeah, Sleater-Kinney is fuckin great, and heck yeah, watchmen is the best written comic fuckin ever, or heck yeah I want a black punch buggy and of course it has to be named after a Beatle, or even heck yeah let's talk about ghosts 24/7. And he has older and more experiences than me, but let me tell you 97% of the things I am introduced to through him I end up fucking loving with all my heart-I listened to the smiths that first time a few years ago because he wouldn't shut up about them, and now i cant imagine my life without them. What I've learned, the things I've discovered With him or because of Him, It's fuckin changed my life and there's no way I would trade that for the world. But a lot of the time it's a lot bigger deal than that. He taught me its okay not to be so great at playing an instrument as a frontman, practice and you will get better but it's ok if you can't play a damn thing- because that was one of my biggest worries. He taught me it that depression wasn't the end of the world, he went through the same shit I did, and he pulled through and made fantastic wonderful fuckin amazing things out of that pain and that recovery. He showed me that there's a chance of success even for kids who fuckin live in their basements with a sketchbook and dirty batman pajamas, because that's me, and I never thought there was a chance in hell I could do anything. He showed me that I can tell the world my message. He told me that I was beautiful. Like me, he understands that it's hard to stay with one subject, that you just have to move on with new ideas. He understands that sometimes you are in a dark place and make dark things but if you are in a fuckin bright place, make bright things and dont feel compelled to stick to what you have always stuck too. He understands having to work fuckin hard at things that you love but don't come naturally. And now here he is talking about gender roles, and i know that he understands identifying with the other gender, questioning yourself. he makes me feel like im not alone. He made me understand that heroes are just people, he's just like me, I can be a fuckin hero, I can be something. And that's fuckin important. Gerard is fucking important.

Okay yes as a fanbase we shouldn't have blind adoration for band members when they fault, but we shouldn't be fucking assholes about it. People makes mistakes. People have misunderstandings. Media can be deceiving. Respect that.
