Meet the pets!

Nena: A 3-month old Alaskan malamute puppy. Friendly. Pompous. Likes digging. 

Schneider: A 3-year old Greenland dog. Energetic. Excitable. Looks a little dumb. 

The bird: The bird. Always there. Always been there. It’s cute.

I've put on so many years that I forget my oldest diary entries. Re-reading them is so much fun! I get to literally surprise myself and root for myself like a storybook hero!

1) WHAT DOES YOUR MUSE SMELL LIKE?

Very clean. Gilbert is not big on cologne or perfumes, but he’s bound to smell fresh and sporty from deodorants geared for athletes. They give off a minty and crispy scent. Gilbert also carries the scent of various mild cleaning products. It’s not unusual to catch the odour of leather, oil and exhaust fumes on him after he’s tinkered with car engines or ridden his motorbike, too.

2) HOW OFTEN DOES YOUR MUSE BATHE / SHOWER?  ANY HABITS?

Gilbert takes a coolish, quick shower most days after his morning workout. He likes taking a longer, hot shower when the weather is cold or when he’s sick. He rarely takes a bath. 

3) DOES YOUR MUSE HAVE ANY TATTOOS OR PIERCINGS?

Gilbert has one piercing on each earlobe. His go-to earrings are black or silver studs, or small silver rings. He wears cuffs and additional clip on earrings to accentuate a punk look from time to time.

4) ANY BODY MOVEMENT QUIRKS (EX: LEG SHAKING)?

He tilts his head to the side a LOT. When he’s listening, admiring, questioning, teasing, challenging or scrutinizing whatever or whoever he’s with. Depending on the occasion, it can be either endearing or very annoying. Way back then, it could’ve even been intimidating. When he is nervous, he taps his fingers on whatever surface is available. 

5) WHAT DO THEY SLEEP IN?

His usual combo is a black tank top and boxer briefs. If the weather gets colder, he might include socks or opt for entire pajamas. 

6) WHAT’S THEIR FAVORITE PIECE OF CLOTHING?

He feels particularly badass whenever he pulls on his leather jacket.

7) WHAT DO THEY DO WHEN THEY WAKE UP?

Stretch, stretch some more, roll around and yawn obnoxiously. He’ll try to get up as soon as possible after waking, because he often feels so tempted to stay in his soft bed, especially since he isn’t really expected anywhere on most days. 

He also does something truly frightening, he makes his bed right after getting up. Every morning! ! !

8) HOW DO THEY SLEEP?  POSITION?

Gil is generally an extremely sound sleeper. He either sleeps curled up, or in the starfish position and centuries on the move from battlefields to battlefields has rendered him able to sleep absolutely anywhere. The floor, a bench, a closet, he’ll make due. Don’t be scared when you find him bundled up in a bathtub when he’s too tired to take the 10 extra steps to his bed. 

9) WHAT DO THEIR HANDS FEEL LIKE?

Not particularly smooth or rough, but very cold more often than not. This is due to his frequent anaemia.

10) IF YOU KISSED THEM, WHAT WOULD THEY USUALLY TASTE LIKE?

Mint, eucalyptus sugar, honey, etc. He indulges in throat candies and mints a lot. A taste of beer would greet you in the evenings too.

I've held the headcanon that Gil has had the frequently infrequent tendency to pass out if he's extremely excited or shocked, it's happened a couple of times in history as far as I know. (Most notably the first time he ever saw a moving picture.)

I kept wondering where the hell I conjured this hc from and just remembered it's from this stupid canon strip and I'm pissing myself
