Yesterday was very tough. I had to say goodbye to my “Handsome Man”, my 18 year old cat, Bailey. Mr Ginchy and I have had him since he was 11 months old. He’s been my shadow since. Almost every fic I have written was done while he was on my lap. I am heartbroken but grateful for all the time we’ve had. I’ve been incredibly lucky to work from home during the pandemic and those days with him, in his twilight, are ones I’ll always remember. Goodnight my Handsome. I love you. 💕

In my ‘Five Things That Make Me Happy’ post, I mentioned Animal Crossing. I don’t think I’ve talked much about my islands, so let me tell you about all my villagers!!  I have the best ones, after all!!  

My kiddo has loved AC for years now, but only got me to play due to lockdown last March, right when ACNH came out.  She and I shared an island on her Switch and I liked it so much that I bought my own Switch and now we have two islands.  

Gemtown 

Villagers -- I can’t rank them really, because I love them all but in a semi-ranking my favorites on Gemtown would go--Hamlet (Hammy), Wendy, Olivia, Gladys, Bob, Fang, Diana, Raymond, Renee, and Tex. My character here is Mandy, named after myself, of course.  One character I miss is Stella.  She was so sweet, but when Raymond came into the campsite I decided to see what all the hype was about.  Stella lives now on my niece’s island and sometimes I visit.  I love all of these villagers so much!!! 💕💕💕

Villagers -- Again, a semi-ranking cause I love them all -- Octavian, Pietro, Boomer, KiKi, Stinky, Zucker, Gigi, Marina, Fuchsia, Anacotti.  My character here is named Molly, just cause I thought that was a cute name.  I think this is a line-up I’ll stick with for a long while. I do miss Opal, who left when KiKi was in the campsite, and Weber who left when we got Gigi.  These villagers make me laugh and keep me entertained! I love them! 🤩💕😆
