Parental involvement: Grif’s biological father died when he was a toddler due to a genetic organ disease (which Grif would avoid, seeing as he doesnt have his OG internal organs). His mother was a very important and active figure in his life until she married when he was about three and had Kaikaina a year later. His mother grew more distant through the years and they finally left Gordon when he was ten. Mama Grif got to the point where she was largely absent, and Grif had to take on the parental role. Gordon insisted on being a part of Kaikaina’s life, and only had a cursory interest in Grif when it suited his image to have an interest in his stepson.

Occupation: Soldier, first in the UNSC, then as a Simulation Trooper for Project Freelancer, and then as a soldier for the armies of Chorus

Relationship tendencies: Grif is very slow to get into relationships, but he seems to have certain things that he finds attractive in other people. When he gets into a relationship, he tends to be extremely considerate of the other person, often to the exclusion of his own wants and needs.

Hobbies to pass the time: Grif likes sleeping, playing video games, or watching terrible movies. He’d never admit to it, but he also has read as much science fiction as Simmons, and a lot of very niche classical literature
Mental illness(es): PTSD and OCD. beyond that, he did spend weeks in total and complete isolation on a moon with no apparent connection to the outside world. Nothing’s been diagnosed, but that would definitely affect his mental health.
Physical illness(es): He had all of his internal organs removed and transplanted with organs from Simmons.
