Ham Tyler’s Star Wars verse- So I was thinking on it some and I want Ham to be a Mercenary for hire like he was prior to the series “V”, initially he was a war veteran (having served in Vietnam) and while he was there, he met someone, got married, and had a daughter. Then during the fall of Saigon, he left his family in a church to be evacuated out, but, one of the flyboys dropped a Napalm too early and accidentally hit the church that he was in. He left the military afterwards and became a mercenary for hire.
I’m still working on the “how” and the “what” in converting his story to SWs, but I suppose that will depend on what timeline that we’re writing in. It could be that his family was on Alderaan when Darth Vader blew it up with the Death Star... could have also been killed in the Clone Wars, but afterwards I think he will either start his own guild or just be a mercenary for hire. He usually does the whole bodyguard thing, but he wouldn’t be opposed to getting his hands dirty if the price is right.
