Is Hato non-binary? I feel like I remember seeing a pride post or something that said that Hato was non-binary and bi. But I've also been seeing he/him used a lot. Just curious.

Since he's male leaning most of the time he's fine with he/him pronouns ... but he also doesnt mind they/them ... whichever one is used is not that big of deal to him.

why was hatos wings covered when he met kouji?

Because they only ever saw each other when they were in their vigilante outfits and Hato doesn't have his wings out when he's in that get up.

What would Hato do if a lil' girl just kinda...ran up to him and hugged his leg?? Like, he doesn't know who she is or why she's hugging him (Its for a mini comic-)

He'd be real confused for a sec ...

Prob ask the kid their name. Maybe get down to their level to talk to them. He'd be very cheery and approachable so as not to scare the kid or freak em out!

He does pretty well with kids. He doesnt have much of an opinion on them for a good while and is rather indifferent ... but kids seem to like him.

I have a question for your Hato post with the villain guy (I don’t know his name ;-; ). Since it was something scary for Hato does he feel scared in his next couple relationships if it going to happen again or something like that or is he fine and doesn’t think it’s gonna happen again. It just kind of seemed like a lot of trauma for him and does he have the Bad memories his dreams etc or did he get counselling or something? Sorry if you don’t get it I just had a lot of questions (;-;).

Oh yeah it definitely messes my boy up!

He'll have major trust issues when it comes to meeting new people and even making friends.

Issues with future relationships is a given ... it takes him a few years to not second guess and wonder if his partner/interest has ulterior motives. He doesn't date for a good year or so after everything with Hotaru (the villain).

But I wanted him to go through this so he could learn and come out a stronger person. He'll def be less trusting of people for the rest of his life ... but I think that will help him to a degree.

He'll also find someone to live the rest of his life with ... and they will think the WORLD of him ... he deserves such 😭

Hi! I love your art!! What kind of bird instincts/ traits does Hato have other than wings?

- He’s got talons (on his hands and feet).  - When he was very young he communicated solely through chirps are bird noises ... which he still can do but rarely ever does. - He can lay eggs like how Hawks did with him ... however he never plans to use it because just the idea freaks him out. He’s gender nebulous or non-binary and doesn’t associate with the female gender at all ... so doing something like that would give him mad dysphoria.  - He can see better than the average person ... especially at night and in the dark

Sorry if you already said this but I couldn’t find it. So what is hato’s quirk? He had wings but are they just like hawks’ or do they just fly or something else?

So Hato's quirk is similar to Hawks ... but with some differences.

He can also ignite his feathers/wings at will with blue flames. While his feathers are more fire-resistant than Hawks' they will burn to ash if ignited for too long (a minute or so).

Its similar with his body. It is more tolerant of the blue flames than the average person but he can still run the risk of burning himself.

Hato's signature move with his quirk is dual, flaming swords 👍

Are Hato’s knife shoes retractable ? Like when he’s in the air they’re knives but when he’s on land they’re not out? Cause I’d imagine he’d trip over them if he’s walking lol

Yes they are.

I imagine with certain foot movements the blades with sheath and retract.

So like an outward motion, almost like a kick, will sheath the blades and a slight backward kick motion will retract them.

Because yes ya boy would be eating it constantly if they were always out 😂
