Meta: How would you describe your character's moral alignment?

Well, well, well. I do think he's too unstable a person to be anything but chaotic. We're talking about a guy who refuses to eat like the entirety of his species. He's a dramatic bitch first, and a terribly smooth fucker second.

He doesn't care about the rules or his duty as a siren, or anything like that. He does things because he wants to do them.

He is driven by instinct and he values freedom more than he did belong to his own family. He's happier being his authentic self than trying to be someone he's not.

He's not trying actively to be a bad or a good person.

He'll protect vulnerable people if he can (like he did with Rory in the forest), and he's capable of empathy. He also would like to find a group where he can belong, which shows that he's not quite as happy as he pretends to be.

BUT

He remains a predator who will eat more hearts than he needs to thrive, and find absolutely no remorse doing what he believes to be nature's command. He's not indulging, he's just living a siren's life.

And he likes that he looks absolutely terrifying to most people. He's been known to use his voice to get what he wants (though he admittedly could do it a lot more often than he does).

He could easily lean toward Chaotic Good or Chaotic Evil, so we'll see what comes next.
