Hey everyone, I'm Juni, I'm 18 and I'm studying biology at university. I love languages, cats and science and I'm extremely good at procrastinating. Here I'll share study tips, some insights into my real study life and whatever else might interest other students.

So I’m like the worst and I probably should have posted a little bit of info on my awkward little Juni, but I forgot. Please love and also forgive me. If you don’t know it’s me Lily. I also play Julian. 

Background:

Juni Cortez is the older twin brother to Elias Cortez, only by a few minutes. When they were younger he’d never let him forget it.

When he was younger he and Elias always went swimming in the ocean closets to their house. Growing up Juni was part of the swim team. He was one of the best and strongest swimmers on it.

When he turned fifteen he was so excited to become a lifeguard at the beach. He’d been looking forward to apply ever since he was young. Juni loved swimming so much.

If Juni wasn’t in the water you could find him glued to his video games and headsets. It didn’t matter what game he was playing he was so addicted to them. When Juni was living with his parents instead of taking away his phone they always took away his video games.

Juni is very superstitious  because he doesn’t have the best of luck. Ever since he was young he was always getting hurt or hurting the people around him. He got the nickname Jinkx, cause no matter where he was something always bad happened. 

His luck got even worse, at seventeen when he and his brother went surfing. A really bad storm was headed in their direction and as the siren rang alerting all of the swimmers to come in Elias didn’t hear it. Fearing his brother was going to get hurt or worse die, Juni went in to save him. Instead of saving his brother they both almost drowned.

To this day Juni is unsure how he feels towards his brother because he blames himself for them almost getting hurt. And he doesn’t know as to why he wants to find him so badly but he does. 

Juni works in the New York Public Library in the children’s department. He does storytimes and also teaches coding classes. He’s really unsure what he wants to do in life. 

Juni also doesn’t get along with his roommates so he locks himself up in his room playing video games. Only to leave for work and food. 

Things to know about Juni:

Older than Elias by a minute.

No matter what he loves his family very much. Even though he doesn’t know what to say about his brother.

He’s pretty sure he’s demisexual - although he hasn’t dated enough people to know for sure.

He became more reserved after he nearly drowned. Juni used to be more outgoing than he is now.

He’s scared of everything and has not gone into the water since his accident.

Juni feels if he’s alone nobody will be affected by his bad luck. Which is why he’s alone a lot.

Lowkey: lonely and wants friends and Elias back in his life. 

Highkey: Won’t admit he needs that.

Does not know how to cook.
