(omfg Kafei feels so attacked...interpreting the questions on the quiz to mean, in ideal situations, the results really kind of painted a picture of his sort of dopey, absent-minded, cruising along & trying not to hurt anything side &.  Not!  Everyone!  Was!  Supposed!  To know!  About!  That!  Side!)

Kafei kind of organizes his life around a handful of VERY BASIC goals like.  Being alive.  & not accepting being an extension of someone else even if that’s their expectation.  & not being awful to any of the few people he cares about, like Anju.  etc. etc. etc.  And as you get farther from those basic goals, like.  Nothing is real and life is a playground.  Other, louder people are guaranteed to be out there making careful rules about nothing and obsessing over trivialities anyway.  People who have strength or power are going to throw their weight around.  He isn’t loud, he doesn’t have much strength or power; he isn’t “big” enough to stand much of a chance in a lot of the arenas he encounters, so why worry about it?  Why worry about anything? (I’m stuffing a link to his sort of theme song into this reply cos this sort of thing is why I chose it lol)

Having his expectations and strategies built like this, it’s really pretty easy to get him to give up on “trivial” things (pretty much anything lol; nothing is real!! life is a playground!! he wasn’t seriously investing in whatever anyway!!) and very difficult to get him to give up as in lose all hope.

Living at his parents’ house, I can see him sleeping on his side like, I don’t feel welcome here I’m just resting pls leave me alone.  Or exaggeratedly sprawled out like, I want to tell myself I belong here & fuck you so hey!  Idk so much about the sleeping next to other ppl thing but umm.  Please imagine Fei & Anju sorta snuggling it up & falling asleep hehe.  He has really tricky boundaries about being touched & defaults to just not wanting it at all because he’s tired and scared.  & like.  If another person isn’t prepared to patiently navigate all of that with him they automatically fail at being someone who should be touching him anyway.

It’s not so common that he’d feel safe actually saying directly caustic things to peoples’ faces… he p much knows how to curse people out, but it’s so much easier to keep it to himself??  His standard is trying to get his point across while keeping enough behind wraps that it isn’t brazenly obvious he’s being a shit; welcome to passive aggressive hell.  He could probably bitch behind peoples’ backs for as long as his listener had time for because he sort of carries so much anger around & if you don’t make the angries obvious to the other person they’re still there. 

Also while we’re on the subject I think it’s worth mentioning that he, or at least the author voice describing his distress, called Majora a “booger-eating fuck” in a recent thread?  Fei is a writer & everything must properly be expressed, one way or another, eventually.

If Anju wanted a party thrown, Kafei would spend hours carefully helping her with decorating and streamlining the room so everybody can party effectively like let’s put the food over here and set up chairs over here and oh, wouldn’t these decorations look nice like this, and !!!  Then the guests would come and he wouldn’t really know what to do with himself.  Unless they wanted to play chess, or some other kind of board game!  In which case he would enjoy focusing on that.  And not the party.  He likes attention, so small talk would be okay for a bit.  But then he’d run out of energy &.  Not know what to do with himself.  He’s pretty resilient against being dragged places; if he doesn’t wanna go he’s not going and fuck you lolol.  If he lives at home and his mother throws a party and he has to come, he is scared of his parents enough to cooperate, but mysteriously!  A reason may appear why he cannot actually keep mingling, how incredibly convenient!

HOW LONG   (  MONTHS / YEARS ?  ): I mean I like to write & tell stories a lot.  & before I was roleplaying I was playing with beanie babies & what all & ??  Not to be pretentious but roleplaying is more of an intermittent natural consequence of how I roll than a hobby I picked up sometime to see what would happen.  I’m lazy & didn’t want to answer this question PLATFORMS YOU’VE USED:  Tumblr, forums, skype, talking in person while going on walks around the block eyy

3. MUSE  PREFERENCES

FEMALE OR MALE: drop kicks this “or” to outer space; nonbinary muses definitely!!  Agender, or some other variant of not a boy & not a girl.  Like... I can just... write about a character who’s nonbinary?  & make them not a side character, not an animal or animate object, not “arguably nonbinary but please be gentle with the majority’s sensibilities so this franchise makes the $$$,” but nonbinary as in, nonbinary as all hell & living & breathing & fucking shit up all over the place as a glorious disaster nobody in their immediate vicinity can possibly ignore??  & definitely not nonbinary as in “well this is real life & who knows if anyone gives a shit so shut up probably Tavs”????  If I can write a nonbinary muse why would I write any other kind of character!! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! *camera pans to the “or” from earlier floating sadly but comically in outer space* MULTI OR SINGLE: I’ve usually run single-muse blogs & that’s worked well for me!

4.  WRITING  PREFERENCES

FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT: Angst is pretty guaranteed to creep into everything cos Fei is Damaged & that’s just part of who he is P:  Fluff is pretty great if it makes sense, but Fei is a little bit troubled/all edges & if there’s any kind of expectation for him to do a fluff thing we’re gonna have a bad time.  I feel like the brand of “fluff” you're likely to find around here is more, the comedic value of Fei trying to approach a situation in a way that isn’t awkward but then it’s like.  SUPER awkward.  I LOVE THAT!!  Smut is an absolute no in any circumstances.  im not the “lol what’s the big deal” kind of ace im the “EEW” kind of ace ouo PLOTS OR MEMES: Both but; plots plots plots!!  To me, memes make the most sense in the context of whatever larger plot we have going on. LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: buckle ur seatbelts I’m gonna write a fuckin novel, BEEP BEEP.  BEST TIME TO WRITE: whenever I mean I don’t have internet at home & my laptop keyboard decided to break so I camp out at computers at school. 
ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S): I mean I’m an agender asexual person who was emotionally abused by their parents & im literally using this blog as a self expression coping mechanism thing right now so...?  Fei definitely isn’t supposed to be me exactly.  He's got zero problem looking at his softer side, grinning real big like ha ha could you imagine, blithely grinding it into the dirt with his heel, & showing the same treatment to whatever negative or unpleasant feelings that might bring; oh well, eyyy!  & I’m the soft piece of shit who really does care like a lot; he’s true neutral & as far as I can figure it I’m lawful good.  He doesn’t like animals, like what the hell why are there autonomous little critters running around who might want to bother you, what purpose does that even serve, unless it’s a cat please keep it away from me.  & I like animals & if time/money was not an obstacle I’d have like my own personal zoo.  Idk Fei isn’t me but it’s so great to have him around to sort of process shit with & study.

▌SPECIES: Human 
▌GENDER: Agender.  His pronouns are he/him & not she/her or they/them.  Many ppl definitely expect other ppl to pick one of two genders & are ready to make fun of people who don’t, including his parents; he was raised with the expectation he should be male & he keeps a sort of masculine persona at hand to default to for that crowd, like a turtle shell to duck into at any sign of danger.  He/him pronouns are part of that.  We just don’t know what’s in his pants, whether he binds, etc. 
▌NATIONALITY: Clock Town 
▌BIRTHDAY: aslkasgkh I need to figure out when his birthday is ▌SUN SIGN: ^^ ▌RESIDENCE: Clock Town ▌MARITAL STATUS: Married or engaged; the main verse is pretty equally & nebulously split between pre- and post-game timeframes ▌ALIGNMENT: True neutral because the core of who he is builds around taking care of himself & people he cares about.  He has leanings towards neutral good because he’d also like for the world to be a good & kind place & wouldn’t mind contributing to that, where possible without sacrificing anything outlandish. ▌DRINK: he goes & gets drunk sometimes cos hes got guns in his head & they won’t go, spirits in his head & they won’t go ▌FOOD: He’s kind of careful about eating.  His parents were big on the “we provide X for you so you owe us Y” line, so he sort of took to accepting as little as possible from them to minimize how much he theoretically “owed” them.  Meanwhile, if there’s cookies, cake, sweet things, etc. sitting out for company in an area he’s in, he makes it his personal mission to acquire some.  It’s more of a mental thing than a sweet tooth; he appreciates the significance of sweets as luxury, and so swiping some for himself is kind of a personal affirmation of self-worth.
