Yes. I am writing more, and actually I’m posting more even though I’m not very fast with updates. I have so many things on my laptop that need to be either finished or posted, or both, so yeah sure!
As for meeting the parents, I wish I could help. I did read them but it’s often oneshots and no of those was stuck in my head enough to remember it. Sorry, I know I’m no use ugh

Hi! No bother at all! It’s just that after years of answering and getting this question, I don’t think I can give you as much of a good answer as I would have before. When you ship something for years, it changed a bit everyday, so it’s also a process why you come to like it so much, but I can try a bit of things.
At first, I merely liked them for the chemistry. They had a lot of tension going on and that usually keeps me enchanted in any tv show - although it’s not enough to make ships otp material most of the time.
I think with Kurtbastian it was a very long trip and the fandom contributed to it, because the fics were great and the headcanons was wow, the au’s were stunning. It’s like we created our own world where Kurtbastian was a thing. On some days, I still have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that it’s not.
As for the characters, I believe Kurt and Sebastian are the best match for my taste: extremely similar but completely different. They clearly have different views of life and probably hobbies / tastes, there’s conflict between them, but they are also very similar: witty, snappy, sarcastic. Fictionally speaking, this is the most interesting for me, it gives you wide imagination, you could carry a conversation between Kurt and Sebastian for ours and you could literally put them in any sort of alternative universe. It’d work. They can also bring the best out of each other: Kurt’s good to soften Sebastian’s edges, Sebastian can give a little more edge to Kurt.
I think Kurtbastian is a very versatile couple, in my head, they fit a lot.
