A Full Tour of The Hideaway Exhibition
ROOM#51, 23RD WARD, KOBAI GOTEN SUBDIVISION, CRYSTAL- ZALERA
Firstly, you enter into the exhibition hall.
but a museum isn't complete without an overpriced gift shop.
Then, you may enter the true Hideway. (The Storage Lounge). The hokinin, Sakichi, will greet you and you be serviced by Jiro and Manami.
However, a lounge needs entertainment, so we have a stage (karaoke is very entertaining).
If one was invited upstairs then you would arrive to Luken's office where he crafts his forgeries. Some of which are on display here.
Finally, the room no one is usually invited to, Luken's studio apartment.
I really wanted everything in this room to be Luken in his truest form, so here why I chose some of these items:
the angler prints and fishing rods are obviously because he enjoys fishing. it will always be his basic means of survival. The sweetfish skewer's are there specifically because of his dad. Luken cherishes the memory of eating sweetfish with his dad.
Luken has the mugs from Gridania and Limsa Lominsa because He was born and raised in in the Twelveswood for about 12 years, but really grew up in Limsa Lominsa even if he lived there for less time.
However, he is nostalgic for the forest home he had once so elements are there for a homey feeling with the glade rug and ivy curtain.
the coffee press is for @yulin-xiv Because those two will define each other down to their soul until one kills the other.
The kitchen of course is because Luken loves to cook. It is so essential though. Not just because you need to eat to live, but this food is luxury that Luken can spoil himself with and provide to others as well and justifying this as a necessity. Cooking is just a little bit of everything that is meaningful to Luken.
I wanted the letter sealing set there and not in Luken's office because I wanted it to be more personal. He is writing letters to his foster mom and Luka more that forging seals and documents which is what got him conscripted just before the calamity.
If you are still reading this, Thank you for completing the tour! Have a good night/day!!
