☀ ━ how long have you been roleplaying? how did you get into it?

Oh gosh, I have to think about this one.

My first internet experience in RP was late 1990s on dial up in AIM and Yahoo chat rooms. I was a horrible pre-teen full of exciting adventures with access to the wide web with very few rules at the time. It was a disaster. I got into this because I really liked fantasy books and wanted to create fantasy characters.

I got into forum rp and more chat room RP throughout the years until I found RP communities in games, including Neopets, Furcadia, Gaia Online, and Second Life.

So, uh ... over 20 years!

Okay so! I read crackship as two different things. One is that the ship is so insane it would never happen unless on drugs ... and the other is that the ship spans through cracks in reality such as between fandoms.

I don’t think I actually have any of these?

Some mutuals could definitely prove me wrong through.

◈  ━ share some headcanons that you have for a muse of your choosing

Going with Moriurya this time! @moriurya

Though she’s a Captain in the Farstriders, she really only got that because she was a dedicated Sergeant in the past and they were running low on qualified bodies to throw at the rank.

She has visitation rights to Rose, her MIA husband’s daughter from his previous marriage, which is handled by the Family Asociation Clerk of Silvermoon (FACS) office that was created after the fall of the Sunwell to help people find their relatives. The only reason she has visitation is because of her son, Bramdyn, being a half sibling to Rose.

During her childhood her best friend and her would pretend to be the Windrunner sisters. She always played the part of Alleria, which she doesn’t talk about as an adult. Rya struggled with accepting Sylvanas as a banshee of free will and stopped looking up to her just before the events of the Cataclysm.

Rya’s eyes showed gold over the green taint of fel because she was not magically inclined and thus did not actively use fel - she fed as needed and nothing more.

Nearly all my characters are open for almost every type of ship. I consider the term “shipping” in this context to encompass friends, romance, enemies, and everything in between. My only one that isn’t completely open is Kav.

Kav: Not really open to full blown enemies, but can get as far as rivals! Rival bands, rival DJs, rival studios ... there is so much dynamic that can be created between characters this way. Friends and romance are always options with her.

♣ ━ share five random facts about yourself

1. Every morning after I drink something I feel the extreme need to clean out my ears. I don’t know if it’s because my ear wax moves well or what, but I get about half-way through a drink before I have to get a cotton swab and clean my ears. (I am careful and don’t insert it into the canal)

2. I was adopted by my mother’s parents when I was almost 13, so sometimes I consider my once-aunts my sisters. Since my birth-parents were married to multiple other people, I also have many other siblings that I am aware of and I’m certain there are others I don’t know about. Currently it’s 8 siblings.

3. I still believe I can talk with my local wildlife and they will not only recognize me but sometimes actually understand me. This has been a strong theme in my life from a very young age.

4. My nickname, Lynx, came from when I was a preteen. My friend was writing a mini book series and had a character based off me that she named Lynx Radica and our group of friends called me that since my real name was so common at school.

5. I am allergic to brazil nuts and have a high intolerance for cashews and macadamia nuts, but my favorite chocolates and snacks have hazelnuts or almonds in them.

In Game: 3+ post responses and interactions in the middle of a group RP or event. Unless it’s a storytelling, performance, or Dungeon Master explaining something, long posts like that are often overwhelming with descriptions not necessary for those involved and, at least for me, really take away from the communal writing that is RP.
