I can’t believe Oda is 10 months old today... birthday in July,

odarem can u smell ghosts or just physical components of death?

Thinking about the fact attempted murder on Odarem is not an irregular occurrence when he’s out in space.

He may be a bird, but I know for a fact that if Oda ever let his excitement show thru fully his tail would wag...

Odarem what does a ghost smell like to you

"Huh. Y'know, I don't really think about it too much, probably because it's not actually all that unpleasant of a smell. It can vary a little bit from ghost to specter, but generally, it smells a bit like a thick fog or mist, if that makes sense?"

"There's always this faint hint of something different in it, too... I imagine it to be akin to each person's particular natural scent."

"I usually have to be looking for them to notice them around, although certain circumstances can make them much more noticeable."

Guess what I didn't forget these,

1. He's absolutely superb at hiding this, but sometimes when he's at his wit's end with stress he'll smoke a cigarette or two.

2. He has a tattoo on his hip/outer thigh of some flowers and a vulture skull!

33. How does your oc’s own perception of themselves compare to how other people see them? Is your oc aware that other people see them differently (if it’s different)?

Oh good god c'mon... you and I both know that it's night and day with this man...

He has an incredibly poor self-perception-- when not making himself fit the mold of the very calm, self-assured, and always reliable person he presents himself as he's pretty emotional and expressive. Intensely so at times, since he holds back any feelings that he considers 'too much'. He thinks he's never enough for anyone, that they'll reject him if he isn't always the image he's built for himself.

So obviously, people see him as the secure and stable persona he's built up over 40 or so sweeps! He is literally well-known for his intense calm and focus no matter the situation- if you've heard of him that's the first thing people mention about him after his skill set.

And of course, he's actually incredibly insecure, deeply emotional, and prone to a bit of recklessness with himself for lack of self-worth. If anyone he's not already formed a bond with catches him being too ''out of character'', he'll tend to outright avoid them, and if not, do the bare minimum to remain polite.
