The backstory of my Pokemon OCs powers
I wrote this out a while ago, here y'all go! ~~~ Long ago, even before all the regions in the world were settled, there lived a tribe of people in the ancient Kalos region. These people worshipped the Life Pokemon, Xerneas, as a god. Their culture centered around Xerneas. Xerneas took note of these people and, pleased with their praise of it, blessed them with the holy power of being able to communicate with all pokemon. As time went on and the tribe dispersed over the generations, this gift became distilled, and soon descendants of this tribe of people could only speak to one certain type of pokemon. There are very few of them now, one person only existing for each type, and only one in all who could speak to any and every type. However, at the same time the Xerneas tribe was still upheld, there lived a cult of people who worshipped Yveltal as their god. Yveltal, unfortunately, did not give these people any kind of blessing. They soon grew envious of the Xerneas worshippers, and as time went on and generations were lived and died, the Yveltal cult would hunt down the Blessed Ones, as they came to be called.
