rhea, seeing all of those gifs about mon-el being a hero: if you wanted to be a hero so much, rule your people. this is not you abdicating the throne, this is you abandoning your people in a time of need. that is not heroic; that is cowardice.

A lot of Rhea’s childhood, she spent thinking about her parents and the fact she never got to meet them. She used to sit in her room a lot and think about what they would’ve been like, what they looked like and what they would do together.

One day, her first mate Bal got really drunk, she still doesn’t know why and tried to swim. Now Bal is a devil fruit user so you can obviously see how that went, but he kept jumping in the water claiming he was the best swimmer in the world. The next day, when he walked out on deck complaining of a headache, he sat down on his favourite spot on the ship which was just beside the mast. After a while he started flipping out, turns out a crab had crawled into his trousers and nipped at his leg. Rhea couldn’t stop laughing.
