15. If you had to pick a Pokémon to represent you, what Pokémon would you pick?

Ooh that's a tough one! I think if we have to consider things I love doing, then maybe Sableye - it's well known for it habit of eating gems, and that combines two of my favorite things: finding rocks and eating.

(Disclaimer: I do not eat rocks. The two things are for me wholly unrelated)

27. Who was your first Pokémon? How did you get them? How long have you had them?

Growing up my family had a Zigzagoon. I swear there was no keeping her out of the pantry, but she was so cute she could be forgiven all her food related crimes. She passed away a few years ago, she was pretty old by then. Little criminal will always be in my heart.

As for my first pokemon that wasn't a family pokemon, that would be Boldore, back when she was still a Roggenrola and I could maybe sort of pick her up. I didn't start out as a trainer, I went to regular school in my early teens, but I started getting interested in my career path and took up some volunteering opportunities. There was this rescue Roggenrola that had been brought over to Sinnoh illegally and I thought why not, I could try bringing her home. Years later I now have a giant cuddly lap rock.

29. What is your favorite Pokémon type?

Steel, but don't let Boldore know I said that. I was more into rock types years ago, but steel types have since become my favorite.

30. What is your least favorite Pokémon type?

This is where I should say I love all pokemon equally but I'm gonna be honest and say I'm not fond of fighting types. Some are cool but some are a bit too human looking, they give me big uncanny valley vibes.

I actually haven't talked about what I do in my field of research. I'm part of a research center a little north of Oreburgh. We're mainly focused on rock and steel types, but of course we also have to be aware of other species hanging around the area. There's three more pokegeologists like me, and then a few more researchers and volunteers.

Part of our work is done together with the mines, to make sure that pokemon aren't too disturbed by the works. Sometimes we also do surveys in the area of Mount Coronet, both locally and on a more regional scale. For regional scale studies, which are a bit more rare, we work more on pokegeology, but if we have to do a local survey we may also account for other evolutionary lines.

We don't really do shelter work. Sometimes we house injured wildlife that was found before it can be transferred to another structure, or we capture some wild pokemon if needed, but we don't have many long term residents. Most of the pokemon we have going around belong to the various researchers.

14. How would you spend a million dollars?

Wow I have no idea. Maybe pay off all my college tuition and then put the rest in the bank to save it.  

24. What are three places you want to travel?

California, France, Russia. 

34. What’s your coffee order?

Dark roast, cream and sugar.

After his first year at North Carolina State, Terry’s love for playing football only grew. Though he didn’t get as much playtime as he wanted since he was still a freshman, he really enjoyed being around the thrill of the game and hearing the cheers from the crowd. Now that he is home for the summer, he is trying to get back his and Alice’s relationship back on track after she found out about his crush. To keep busy and to make money during the summer, Terry continues to work at the Italian restaurant and trains for football tryouts next school year.

Shooting Star: If you could bring back one thing, what would it be?

Planters Cheez Balls. My mom used to always have those around the house. I loved them.

Green 

Centaurus: Favourite holiday?

Fourth of July. It’s just a fun time for bbq’s and hanging with family and friends.
