About Me!

I've been meaning to do a new intro anyway, and it's become increasingly apparent that I should probably have a pinned post with my rules, because not everyone sees the ones in my bio. So here goes!

Tl;dr:

Lady — she/her — 31F; bisexual soft switch — all genders and orientations welcome — DMs are for mutuals; ask box is for everybody

The longer version:

I go by a handful of names in these parts, but "lady" is preferred. :)

I myself am 31, which means I ask that all followers be at least 18, and that you be 21 or older if you want to flirt with me in my ask box or interact with me sexually at all. Advice asks, or asks that are not spicy, are open to everyone. :)

You may notice that there are no images on my blog, with a very few exceptions. That's on purpose! I enjoy being the technically-NSFW Tumblr that is, in fact, safe for you to open anywhere. If you are a content creator and wonder why I'm liking your posts but not reblogging them, that's probably why. I love supporting creators and try to do it in other ways.

DMs are open to mutuals; my ask box is open to everybody. That's just how I'm most comfortable. If you have a truly sensitive question, you have a few options available to you: ask it on anon, so that your name is not attached, or request in your ask that I not post the answer publicly. I promise to always honor that request.

Currently watching: I just started Cadfael again because somehow I've never watched further than the first series.

Current obsession: My brain has been itching to get really into something lately, but I haven't been able to find anything that clicks.

Currently reading: I've been in a bad reading slump lately. The last things I got all the way through were rereads of both Skim and This One Summer by Jillian and Mariko Tamaki.

Currently working on: I've hit a block with the novel I'm trying to write. So, instead, I'm playing with an idea for a short-ish fantasy story. I don't know if I'll stick with it, but there are some bits I'm rather pleased with.

Last web search: I looked up the cast for the Cadfael episode The Leper of St. Giles. And, indeed, Lady Iveta de Massard turned out to be a very young Tara Fitzgerald.

When I was little, I told my aunt that I wanted to be a Pirate but that I was too young. She asked me what age I thought would be a good time to start my Piratical career. I told her 32.

Well, as of today, I'm 32-years-old.

So I suppose I'm off to commandeer a ships, pick up a crew in Tortuga, raid, pillage, plunder and otherwise pilfer my weasely black guts out.
