I came up with a backstory for the gunslinger. All of this is headcanon stuff--- none of it is true XD he’s an OC at this point tbh

Backstory
Yul is the son of Russian immigrants and was born in the mid 1800's. When he was just a young child, his parents decided to move further out west to build their home on the plains, thinking that they could escape the war that was starting to brew between the north and the south. He was the oldest and only boy in a family of 7 children (the others were female), and being the only male in the house, and the oldest, he was expected to work to help support the family. In the nearby town of Sweetwater, Yul would do small jobs here and there to earn money, until one day he was asked to go on a bounty run, which promised more profit than sweeping or delivering mail or running errands.
It was then that he experienced his first kill, and as a result, he also received a bigger chunk of the bounty. He hadn't expected to be the one to pull the trigger, if truth be told. Taking another life was never easy, but the bounty hunter that he was with, placed a hand on his shoulder and told him that he had done the right thing and assured him the man deserved what was coming to him.
Visibly shaken still, Yul returned home with a wad of money in his pocket, eager to show his family what he had gotten for them... but when he got there, the smell of blood was strong in the air. His family had been killed. But by who? He spent many years looking for answers and killed many men in the process. Revenge is always on his mind and he will never let anyone get the better of him.
