CIS-MALE, HE/HIM. Hey, is that AARON TVEIT? No, that is just BRANDON “BRANT” HOLMES around Cypress Cove. I heard they are 39 years old, and their birthday is JANUARY 1, 1987. They rest their head on the COAST but they can mainly be found working as a FIREFIGHTER. Some say they are FOODIE, LOYAL, and RESOURCEFUL but can be SENSITIVE, RESERVED, and IMPULSIVE. If they had a theme song, it would be “I SEE FIRE” by ED SHEERAN. I hear they are a NEWCOMER either way Cypress Cove is home and welcomes you!

BIOGRAPHY
Brandon Henderson was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California, the kind of kid people described as dependable before he even understood what that meant. He was good at school, good at sports, and good with people. Almost annoyingly so. Being the golden child came with expectations though, and expectations made honesty feel complicated once he realized he wasn’t exactly who everyone assumed he would be. Especially once he realized how he felt about Scott Holmes.
The two had been inseparable for years before Brant finally acted on it, kissing Scott in the locker room after baseball practice one afternoon when the silence between them became impossible to ignore. To his surprise, Scott didn’t pull away. From there they became something steady and certain and quietly permanent. Their high school’s unofficial it-couple, even if Brant never quite believed things were allowed to be that simple.
Then the wildfire came through the hills above Santa Barbara and everything changed. When evacuation orders were issued, Scott went looking for Brant first to make sure he had gotten out safely. By the time he returned home, it was too late. His mother didn’t make it out. The weight of that decision stayed with Scott afterward, reshaping everything between them. He closed himself off and eventually pushed Brant away entirely, retreating into grief and guilt that Brant couldn’t reach through no matter how hard he tried.
Brant never forgot that someone had chosen his life first in the middle of a burning hillside. Not long after, his parents relocated to Vermont and Brant followed. He enrolled in college briefly before realizing he couldn’t pretend life followed neat timelines anymore. Instead, he enrolled in the academy and became a firefighter. If someone had once crossed fire and smoke to make sure he survived, he intended to spend the rest of his life doing the same for other people.
He dated occasionally over the years, but nothing ever lasted more than a few months. Some part of him never really stopped believing Scott was his person. Every now and then he checked in with Scott’s sister Sophia, careful not to push too hard but never quite able to let go completely. Eventually he stopped wondering what might happen if he tried again.
He packed up his life and moved to Cypress Cove to find Scott. Knowing Brant had crossed the country just to find him helped Scott realize he didn’t have to keep shutting himself off from the people who loved him. They found their way back to each other, rediscovering and rebuilding their relationship. Scott proposed during a birthday trip back to Santa Barbara and they were married just a few months later on Brant’s birthday.
They have been married for two years now. Brant has fully settled into life in Cypress Cove, working as a firefighter in town and building the kind of future he once thought he had lost. These days, most of his spare time is spent trying to convince his husband that their house absolutely has room for one more dog.
