The fuck-ass shark films got to us, y'all
SO!
....I've been quite silent lately, I have been working on some chapters and art.
So, happy late birthday Hyde! :D
I meant to post pictures of this earlier but forgot, I made it shortly after when the chapter cover came out as, GOD is it lovely!
I used cellophane to make it like 'stained glass' artwork. As you can see in the first picture, light shines through it very nicely.
It was so fun to make, and I just want to thank Sage (@arythusa) for creating such a lovely chapter cover! Just doing this whole comic in the first place even!
I love seeing a new page every Monday, and love the community that has formed around the whole comic. It's just... great!
And all I want to say is, thank you! Thank you for creating all of this!
:D

slight redesign of my jekyll and hyde ….
Dr. Henry Jekyll
I wanted to play a bit with my style and colors. The initial sketch sat in my tablet for a couple months before I knew what to do with the background and the textures. Then, in a wild, allergy-induced flurry last night, I knew.
I am trying to return to that feeling of play in my work, the type of advice I always give to other artists. Enjoy what you're making. Experiment. Don't be afraid of if it's good or not. Follow your instinct. And I believe I achieved that mindset in this piece.
