dlkfjalf ok but. faith's biggest crush! can't be brooce :P vs faye's biggest crush THAT CAN BE BROOCE
My biggest crush? I don't know if I can narrow it down (quit peddling Bruce, lol), but I think Steve Rogers is way up there. Cary Grant is also up there.
My Slayer's biggest crush is Bruce, so I don't know what to tell you. But if we leave love out of it, and make it crush-only, then I think it's probably either Eminem, Ice Cube, or Hank Green. Rob Thomas.
Card: "In case you ever forget it. Well unforget it. I love you like gravity loves math and cold loves heat. You ignited something right in the middle of my heart and it warmed my star system and jumpstarted life on my puny planet. Faith, you're my valentine and I can't wait to start forever with you."
Roses. It's cliché and, for some reason, that's exactly what the doctor ordered. She rests her hip against the hall table, just a hint of a smirk that borders on too genuine as she reads over the card --- damn. Say what you want about Banner (not to Faith, or she'll kick your teeth out) but he's got the romance thing down. Got to get those in some water. It's midday traffic, but she's gonna catch a cab, anyway if one will actually stop for someone wearing a black rubber catsuit --- feels like returning the surprise.
"Thought we been over this? Got past the whole ‘will they, won’t they’ thing... besides, I paid for your ass in full. You better be mine. If you even gotta ask, I’m doing something wrong.”
@phdinrage asked, “what is the best and worst part about dating brooce JUST DO THIS FOR ME xD”
---------- The best bit about being in a relationship with Bruce Banner is that Bruce is Bruce, if that makes sense.
He’s weird and neurotic, and accidentally megalomaniacal at times, but he’s also sweet and kind and gentle. And smart, and you know Faith’s got a very pronounced sapiosexual streak. As smart as he is, he never talks down to Faith, never passes off her ideas or belittles her input on things. He’s managed to do what no one else has (including Angel) by treating her like a human being. Not a problem, not a project, not a soldier ---- a human being. Also, look at him. How is that not a plus?
Worst part of being close to Bruce has to be that he doesn’t afford himself the same dignity and respect that he shows Faith. He’s terrified of himself and what he’s capable of, especially in regard to Hulk. Though Bruce is borderline arrogant about his mind, he’s also fairly insecure in how he stacks up to guys like Steve, Sam and Bucky and Faith frankly doesn’t have a counter for that because she’s fairly sure that Bruce can’t bring himself to believe that he does, in fact, measure up to these super men. It’s also frustrating as hell to not be able to be physically intimate with the man you love, but she understands. Besides, at the risk of being too mushy and baiting my muse to kick the inside of my head for admitting this? Just sleeping next to Bruce is far and beyond better than sex with anyone else, so it’s really no contest.
There you go, I’ve fed your ego. Nice to know you’ve got your mood in check, Jandon Marie lol.
@phdinrage asks, “OK but how fdjaflkja does Faith feel abt smart hulk??”
Well, considering she’s never met him lol. If that happened in Crossed Worlds, she’d be furious and heartbroken. Which, of course, leads to more fury lol. She deeply loves Hulk and the thought that at least on some level he’d be gone would be really hard for her to forgive. And, frankly, she likes Bruce the way he is and would be more likely to push to separate them rather than merge them. Now, as a mun I realize why Bruce did what he did and why it ended up the way it ended up, but Faith doesn’t know what I know and she’s selfish. Especially when it comes to Banner and Hulk.
