my art child!!! we don’t support his toxic longing to be a tortured artist but!!! we support his little quirks ok
he likes to,,,,,,,,,, stare at people. and will often not realise he’s doing it. it started when he was first learning how to draw, he’d spend hours upon hours sitting behind corner tables in local cafés or in the school hallways, trying to find inspiration to draw people’s faces and their body movements as he saw them . ngl, a part of it was just him trying to fit this stereotypical image of a tortured artist lurking from the shadows that he’s trying sO hard to fit even tho,,, nash baby,, u should rly stop longing for a tortured life like,,, can you not be so bored with who you are and just?? accept you’ve got a nice life?? anyway, after a while he started thinking of stories behind the characters he’d draw, where they’re from, all the exciting things they’ve seen and done, and honestly, at this point, he’ll stare at people even if he doesn’t have a pen and paper at hand, especially when he’s at work, being a janitor at a hotel giving him the perfect opportunity to silently creep on new travellers day after day after day.
although,,,,, recently he’s become obsessed with the idea of getting big on social media, so he’s constantly checking his notifications, $5 to u if you spot him without his phone in his hands, so it’s almost as if his habit of watching people switched over to endless scrolling through instagram profiles and being jealous of all the exciting adventures people post about
