This past weekend I accompanied Wam Dingis on the fender rhodes mark II+my violin for the first time. It was a dream and it f***ing rocked. My friend Dr. Shanetta Robinson put it straight for me pre-motherhood. She said she accomplished more when she became a mom than ever before. (And man, she became a mother of 2 during undergrad but worked and put herself through to her doctorate as a single mom). I never forgot that. I always thought my life would be over after becoming a mom...actually I thought that about marriage and also about getting older....but it's all so not true. Life is so good now...I like being older, having more experience, and maturity. I love being married to a man who inspires and teaches me so much. I love being a mom and learning the babyworld.
