Bio: Born and raised in Arrowhand, Drakka distinguishes himself on the field of combat and is particularly adept at machine hunting. This earns him a position among the hunting squads of Arrowhand who trade their goods for water from Scalding Spear. Despite tension between Drakka and many members of his clan (including Grudda, Regalla’s future champion), Drakka nevertheless proves himself a worthy leader and rises to the position of settlement head. Tension rises between Drakka and Yarra, the Commander of the Desert Clan when he feels water rations are not being doled out as evenhandedly as they ought to be—Arrowhand, Drakka knows, is sacrificing far too much for too little and his people are dying. Along with the aid of a flame-haired huntress from the east, Drakka succeeds in returning waterflow to Scalding Spear and challenges Yarra for position of Commander. The huntress stands with him and they triumph. Unlike eastern peoples, Tenakth leaders rarely stay in one place, so Drakka might be found hunting machines with his people as ever—perhaps more often than he should.
Appearance: Dressed in typical Tenakth fashion, his clothing is functional and ornamental—as all of his tribespeople, he does not wear shoes and, in point of fact, is barely covered to better display the marks of his accomplished life. Typical Desert Clan red, black, and yellow facepaint obscures his features.
Personality: Seemingly hotheaded and impulsive, this belies a sharp intelligence and a deep desire for the well-being of his people. The burden of leadership is a heavy one, but he carries it with skill and only a little, occasional complaining. Set in his ways, he is difficult to budge, but with the leadership of his entire Clan may come experience and flexibility…
